It's going to take a minute for you to organize it, though.

The Persona series has always had its following, but with the release of Persona 5 and its enhanced re-release, Persona 5 Royal, it seems things have been taken to the next level. More people are discovering the franchise, it seems, including its music. Persona has always had some great beats, and now you can get them on select streaming services, though they may be a pain to swift through at the moment.

Seemingly out of nowhere, soundtracks for the various Persona titles appeared on Spotify and Apple Music. It’s not just music for Persona 3-5, either, but many of the various spinoffs such as the Dancing games, Persona Q and Persona 4 Arena. What’s maybe even more surprising is there is also the OST for Persona 2 (if you’re unaware, the style of the series changed significantly with Persona 3, and the first two games are largely ignored), though the first game is still absent.

Unfortunately, as you’ll notice in the links above, despite being available on English storefronts many albums and songs are still in Japanese and are somewhat terribly organized, especially on Spotify. Something similar happened when Square added the Final Fantasy tracks a few years back, which was fixed eventually to make it more manageable, so hopefully this will happen here, too. Still, though, it’s all here even if you have to do some parsing through. It’s unclear at this time if the soundtracks will come to other streaming services such as YouTube Music and Tidal. The next game in the series, Persona 5 Strikers, is set to release on February 23rd on PS4 and Switch.

As well as the file size for the PS4 port of Dancing All Night.

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Stars Night are coming to the PS4 and PS Vita this week. The new games are rhythm game spin offs based on the superlative soundtracks of the games i the vein of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, so it’s easy to see why they are so eagerly anticipated by the series’ fanbase.

Now, we know what the file size for both games will be on the PS4- 3 is 8.67GB, and 5 is 8.64GB. If you get the Special Edition which also includes a PS4 version of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, that one is 5.17GB. If you get all three, you’ll need 22GB free on your system. The file sizes for the Vita versions have not yet been shared, but we can expect them to be smaller than the PS4 versions, which include higher resolution assets, and PSVR compatibility.

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Stars Night are both launching on PS4 and PS Vita in Japan; for now, a western release date has not been confirmed.

The poem of everyone's pancakes.

The bafflingly fan favorite character Goro Akechi will be featured in the fan service laden upcoming Persona 5: Dancing Stars Night as a DLC character; and if you wanted to see him bust his moves on the dance floor, a brand new screenshot is now available that shows him shake his leg in full Phantom Thief style.

We, of course, do not yet know what song he is dancing to (I am sure Atlus can edit an existing Persona 5 song to have nothing but the word “pancake”), but he seems to be enjoying himself. I am just glad this game is confirmed to be non canon or the dissonance would probably have been way too much for me to handle.

Persona 5: Dancing Star Night is going to launch alongside Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night on the PS4 and PS Vita in Japan on May 24. No western release for the games has been announced yet- hopefully soon.

The next trailers advertising the upcoming Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night feature a pair of characters that featured heavily within the Arc System Works collaboration fighting title, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Sho Minazuki and Labrys can take to the stage in either title as DLC, despite them having exactly zero connection to Persona 5.

Labrys, an Anti-Shadow Weapon like Aigis, is prominently featured in both Persona 4 Arena titles, while Sho Minazuki was the antagonist for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, where he was trying to destroy the world. The DLC will be cross compatible with either version of the game, with Labrys featuring a remix of “Today” from Persona 4 Arena and Sho dancing to a remix of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax’s theme “Break Out Of…”

Previous character trailers have shown off their respective game’s protagonists Makoto Yuki and Ren Amamiya, Ken Amada and Haru Okumura, Fuuka Yamagishi and Futaba Sakura, and several more, including DLC trailers for Lavenza and Theodore. While news of the dancing titles coming West has not happened yet, Japanese players and those willing to import can look forward to release as of May 24, 2018

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night are the upcoming rhythm games from Atlus which will soon release in Japan for the PS4 and PS Vita. The games feature characters from Persona 3 and Persona 5 as they dance to music from these games. Now, a new trailer has been revealed for Lavenza who will be made available as a DLC character.

We’ve already seen some intro movies to both these games and they look great so far. While Lavenza was a part of the cast of Persona 5, she will also be available in Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night. She will be made available after the launch of both the games, but it remains to be seen when exactly that will be.

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night will release for the PS4 and PS Vita in Japan on May 24. As of now, no Western release has been announced.

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Stars Night‘s Japanese release is almost here- they launch next month in the country for PS4 and PS Vita, and ahead of that release, Atlus has shared the intro movies for both games, showcasing the fantastic music we can expect from both games, as well as the overwhelmingly impressive sense of style for both.

Persona 3‘s intro movie feels nostalgic (which makes sense, given the game is over 10 years old), while Persona 5‘s leans in on the same sharp musical style and character designs that made it stand out so much last year. You can, of course, check out both the intro movies for yourself below.

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Stars Night both will launch on the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 in Japan on May. As of right now, no western release has been announced for either game (though, I hope, it’s only a matter of time).

The twin rhythm games from Atlus, Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5 Dancing Star Night, have yet to receive western release dates. However, it’s a matter of time before Atlus wants to milk their franchises dry across the pond, so we’ve got two new trailers to check out for the games.

Haru Okumura from Persona 5 headlines the Dancing Star Night trailer, matched to a remix of Beneath The Mask from Persona 5’s soundtrack. Several costumes and locations are shown off, including her regular clothes, Phantom Thief outfit and a ballet inspired dancing dress. Maybe her precise beautiful moves will win her a few more points in the fandom?

For Dancing Moon Night, Ken Amada takes centre stage. The young boy receives an angelic inspired dancing costume and is shown with a remix of ‘Light the fire up in the Night’ from 3DS title, Persona Q. You can check out previous coverage and other trailers here and here.

See your favourite characters jamming it to your favourite tunes.

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Stars Night are due out in Japan soon, which means advertising for them on TV has started (you see, in Japan, Persona is a big enough series that it gets major commercial airtime on television). The two newest commercials, one for each game, show off some favourite characters from each—you can check them out for yourself below.

In the vein of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, Dancing Moon Night and Dancing Star Night are rhythm games starring characters from each of those games jamming it to some fan favourite tunes from each. Given how great the music in Persona games is, and that this is the only way I get to dance with Makoto, these games are sorely necessary.

Both games launch on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan come May 24. A western release has not yet been announced or confirmed—hopefully soon.

Well, that’s... something, I suppose.

Atlus has announced that some fan favourite characters from Persona 3 and Persona 5– although, with the exception of Akechi and Shinji, just why you would have any of the other characters as a “favourite” is a concept that completely eludes and baffles me- will be available as DLC for Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Stars Night.

These characters include Goro Akechi and Lavenza from Persona 5, and Theodore and Shinji from Persona 3. These are the okay characters that I don’t necessarily mind being in the games- then there is the inclusion of Labrys and Sho from Persona 4 Arena, which outright confuses me. Who asked for these characters? Why would you waste your time implementing them?

But hey, why do I care, I got my favourite character confirmed for these games already. So sure, go ahead. Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night are both due out for PS4 and PS Vita in Japan in Summer. A western release has not yet been announced.

So much Shin Megami Tensei love!

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Stars Night are both due to launch in Japan in just a few months now, and ahead of that release, Atlus has been giving us new trailers and media for both games on an almost daily basis now.

Take this newest trailer, which covers both games- what this trailer does is show us the DLC costumes that will be available in these games. It seems like these DLC costumes will cover and reference older and newer Shin Megami Tensei games alike- you can check out the trailer for yourself below to see how many of these you recognize. As you might expect, Makoto gets the best costume. Which makes sense, since she’s the best.

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Stars Night will launch on PS4 (with PSVR compatibility!) and PS Vita on May 24 in Japan. As of right now, we don’t have a western release announced.
