November is here and with it brings a new selection of free Games With Gold for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. This month also marks the debut of the New Xbox One Experience which will make the console backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games, effectively doubling the number of available free games.

Currently, Pneuma: Breath of Life for the Xbox One and Dirt 3 for the Xbox 360 are available on Games With Gold. While Pneuma will remain until the end of the month, Dirt 3 will only be available till November 15th. Given that the system update is due on November 12th, that should be plenty of time to download and keep it ready.

Other games due this month include Knight Squad for the Xbox One (available from November 16th to December 15th) and Dungeon Siege 3 on the Xbox 350 (November 16th to 30th). The Walking Dead: Season One is also currently available free on Xbox One until November 15th.

In the lead up to Gamescom, Deco Digital & Bevel Studios has announced Pneuma: Breath of Life for the Xbox One, developed on Unreal Engine 4 and releasing in January 2015. Check out the first trailer for the game above.

You’ll play as Pneuma, who goes on a first person puzzle adventure and tries to solve different challenges. He’ll also have a smart quip or two along the way while lifting bridges, unlocking doors and pretty much chilling out.

Joe Brammer, Producer & Artist at Deco Digital, stated that, “We’ve been working really hard on Pneuma. We think Pneuma is something special, it’s different, and we truly believe the gaming community is craving a game like this, which is why we’ve put so much work into it to try and deliver the best experience possible and see whether players can overcome some of the seriously challenging puzzles you’ll face in Pneuma.”
