Evolution Studios’ DriveClub will be out in the coming days and the developer has revealed that pre-loading for the game has gone live prior to release. Game director Paul Rustchynsky has confirmed on Twitter that digital pre-loading, which allows players to download the game now and play it as soon as it releases, is live in the United States.

“#DRIVECLUB pre-loads should have started or will be starting shortly in the US/CA. EU pre-loads start tomorrow & UK will be Wednesday.”

Rustchynsky further added that, “#DRIVECLUB pre-loads are only available for the full game or PS+ upgrades. The PS+ Edition has to be downloaded on the day.” Sorry, freebie mongers but that’s one of the downsides of waiting for the PS Plus Edition.

DriveClub will be out in North America on October 7th exclusively for the PS4. Europe receives it on October 8th while the UK receives it on October 10th.
