Exclusive to PS5, it features six tracks, five CrossWorlds, nine playable characters, and 16 vehicles alongside World Match mode.

Sega’s Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds lacks a release date, but it is getting a closed network test next week. You can sign up now until February 19th, with the test starting on February 21st, 4 PM PT and ending on February 23rd, 4 PM PT. Unfortunately, it’s exclusive to PS5 players.

For those lucky enough to get in, the test features six tracks, five CrossWorlds, 16 vehicles, and online races. Nine characters are available to select, including Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy Rose, Shadow the Hedgehog, Eggman, Zazz, and more.

World Match is the only available mode, though you can engage in some machine and gadget customization. Participants who complete a survey afterwards can receive a “special” bonus to use in the game when it launches.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is also coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. As showcased in the debut gameplay trailer, its core gimmick is traversing to different worlds through Travel Rings (with first place deciding on the location). Transforming vehicles also return, while Gadgets provide different perks.

A network test is scheduled for February 21st with sign-ups currently available. The kart racing title is coming to consoles and PC.

As rumored, Sega’s Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, a follow-up to its kart racing series, made an appearance during the latest State of Play. It doesn’t have a release date, but its first gameplay trailer revealed several new details. Check it out below.

Alongside newcomers like Shadow the Hedgehog, CrossWorlds also sports transforming vehicles, as seen in Sonic and All-Stars Racing: Transformed (including monster trucks). Perhaps the most intriguing new addition is the ability to cross over into different worlds at specific points during a race. But that’s not all, as the Extreme Gear from Sonic Riders has also returned.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Sign-ups are available for a network test, which kicks off on February 21st. Stay tuned for further details on its content and other features (and whether the Extreme Gear is simply cosmetic or controls like the first one).

A swiftly-deleted tweet by Sonic Team producer Joel Youkhanna seems to suggest that the racer will receive a new trailer at the imminent event.

Sega unveiled Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds at The Game Awards in December with a brief teaser trailer, though a more extended look at the arcade racing title might be right around the corner.

Sony has announced a 40-minute-plus State of Play presentation for February 12, where Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds could also take the stage. Caught by Sonic Stadium, Sonic Team producer Joel Youkhanna dropped a tweet shortly after the event’s announcement, writing, “Oh look, a new State of Play. #knowingsmile”

The tweet was deleted promptly afterwards, though only after kicking speculation among fans into overdrive. Of course, if Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds does get shown off again, the big question will be whether Sega will announce a release date or window for the title, especially with the company’s short-term release schedule looking comparatively sparse after an insanely packed 2024.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The next Sonic Racing title is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch, though a release window has yet to be revealed.

The Sonic Racing franchise is making a comeback with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. In a cinematic teaser even shorter than Virtua Fighter’s, we see a kart with black and red colors, with Shadow the Hedgehog walking up and hopping in. He then takes off into the city streets, and yes, that really is it.

There’s no release window, but it is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The title and tease of “new roads await” could indicate crossing dimensions or maybe multiple timelines. It wouldn’t be the first time that the Sonic franchise has dabbled in either aspect, as Sonic Rush and Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) have showcased.

The last title in the franchise was Team Sonic Racing, available in 2019. Despite above-average reviews, it sold fairly well for Sega. You can check out our review for it here – we gave it an eight out of ten, praising the mechanics and criticizing the AI.

Go towards the Durlin’s House which can also be found on the Nidavellir West side. Go past the house and towards the West side on the right edge you will find this Dew.

The final one is towards Alberich Island’s south area. You will have to complete Reckoning in order to get it. Go back to the Svartalfheim South-east of the Island, take the big chain and lower fence using the Runic Slate. It will give you to the Dew.

River Delta

You will find the Dew close towards the North side when you go from the Gateway. It is more towards the camp of Freyr, when you have to sail, the Dew is towards the left onwards.

The second one is towards the bend of the southwest. There is a tree you can actually pass under, near the Landing of Pilgrims. From there go west and take the southern route towards the bend. On the left river side, you will find the Dew.

The Jungle

Do the Return of River first and sail towards the southeast side. A stone pillar will appear and behind it, you will find this Dew.

The Plains

On the north side when sailing on the river, you will find a separation of paths towards east and west. Do Return to the River first and then go south, turning the area to the river.

Sinkholes

You will find this Dew on the river but you have to do the Favor of Return of River in the Jungle. Enter this area from the Gateway and then go southwest. Around a bend, you will find this Dew on your left-sided wall.

Want to find all Artifacts in God of War Ragnarok? You have come to the right place.

The most valuable Item in God of War Ragnarok is none other than Artifact. Whenever Kratos comes near the Artifacts, they start glowing purple. You can also sell these Artifacts for some Hacksilver. Artifacts are divided into two types: Ones that are found only in a single Realm, and others that are divided across Realms, which are Kvasir’s Poems.

All Artifacts Locations in God of War Ragnarok

Artifacts in Svartalfheim Realm

Aurvangar Wetlands – Hreidmar’s Brassard

In the area of Aurvangar Wetlands, when you stop the boat at the shore, you will find a geyser. Freeze that geyser and move onwards from it. There is another one on your right, which you also have to freeze and move onto a higher ground by grappling. On the right side, you will find the Artifact

Aurvangar Wetlands – The Sunrise of Nothingness

On the main path, you will find a geyser. Before you can even open the main gate, it is important that you pull up the blocks of metal using the geysers. There is a red Chest and on the table, you will find this Artifact

Nidavellir – Large Society Ground Orb (The Performance)

After you put your steps for the first time in Nidavellir, there is a person named Sindri who gives Atreus an upgrade to the bow. After getting it, go back to the boat and there you will find a barrier just on your right side. Use Atreus to destroy it and behind you will find the Artifact

Nidavellir – Griep’s Firebomb

After the upgrade, there is a new area that is revealed after crawling in the sewers. There is a passageway on your left that is lit by torches. On our way, there is a barrier that you have to destroy and you will find an Artifact on the ground.

Lyngbakr Island – We Who Remain (Part the Second)

In Lyngbakr Island, there is a second binding and after going through it, you will see something to climb on towards your left. After climbing, you will have to go left and at the end, you will find a red Chest. Don’t go left, rather look to the right and you will find the Artifact there.

The Forge – Bari’s Grenade

In the Forge, you need to simply walk the path, and when you see the stone ledge, climb it up. From left, follow it around and when you see a drop-down, take it and look for a scaffolding. The Artifact is underneath it.

Jarnsmida Pitmines – Lofnheid’s Whetstone

In the Jarnsmida Pitmines, when you are going to the mines through your second train, you will find some enemies. Here you will find a chain that leads you to the platform alongside the water. When you go down the route, you will find an Artifact.

Jarnsmida Pitmines – Tool and Bang

Sindri will give you a letter in Jarnsmida Pitmines and after receiving it, you need to go right. Here you will find a stream of water that you can actually interact with. After the interaction, you will pull the stream and a huge crane appears.

The block of stone can actually be used to grapple and afterward, you need to freeze water. Use the block to go back and there is a grapple point that takes you to the new path. After going onwards the route, you will find an Artifact here.

The Applecore – Althjof’s Statue

Here in Applecore, you will find a puzzle that has water channels and elevators. To the right of that puzzle, you will find gold debris. You simply have to take the route that takes you to the elevator and from there you will have to take a turn. Blow up the pot and you will find a new path.

Take that path and on the other side, you will find a grapple point towards your left. It will take you to the top of the ledge and there you will find a door. After opening the door and looking left on the other side, you will find an Artifact.

The Applecore – Durinn’s Stone Statue

In the mines of Applecore, you will find grappling points. Using this will take you past the falling water. Go left and then down from the other side. You will find glowing debris, which you have to blow and then you will find an Artifact there.

The Applecore – Sanguinity

Take the Mystic Gateway towards Applecore. Remember, you are using the Mystic Gateway from the Aurvangar Wetlands, using a ferry.
Check our guide on finding all the buried treasures in God of War Ragnarok.

Buried Treasure is similar to the Lore collectibles found in God of War Ragnarok but there are two parts to them. Firstly, you will have to find the Treasure Map and then secondly, you will find the Treasure itself. There map is basically a picture followed by a written clue in each Realm that helps you get to the Buried Treasure itself.

All Buried Treasure Locations in God of War Ragnarok

Buried Treasure in Svartalfheim Realm

Modvitnir’s Rig – Fruits of Industry

When you get the Fruits of the Industry Treasure map, you can come back to the Modvitnir’s Rig. Here you will see a ledge primarily on your right and alongside it, you will see the Buried Treasure.

Dragon Beach – Washed Ashore

When you get the Washed Ashore Treasure map, you must go back to Dragon Beach. There is a large skeleton on the right side of that area. On the foot of that skeleton, you will find the Buried Treasure.

The Applecore – Mining Glory

In the location of Applecore, you will find the Mystic Gateway. Take that path down and back towards the next room across the spear. When you crawl from that area, you will get toward the central spiral. From there again go down, circling right and you will find a small opening there. The hidden Treasure in applecore is right there.

Buried Treasure in Alfheim Realm

The Barrens – Vulture’s Gold

In the area of the Barrens, you will find a giant skeleton of some creature on the northeast side. It is big enough that you can literally go inside the mouth of the creature. Get into the mouth and on the front of the jaw, you will see the Buried Treasure.

Forbidden Sands – Forgotten Tower

There is a large tower when you enter the Forbidden Sands and take the north route. It has grapple points, which allow you to go up. On the extreme left side, you will find the Buried Treasure there.

Buried Treasure in Vanaheim Realm

Goddess Falls – Under the Rainbow

In the Goddess Falls, you will literally have to go up the walls, and on the edge of the cliff’s right side, you will see the Buried Treasure there up front.

River Delta – Giant’s Toes

When you get the Giant’s Toes Treasure map, you can go next to the Brok’s Workshop, and from behind the Mystic Gateway, you will find the Buried Treasure.

The Plains – A Scar is Born

When you got the Crater water back and then went to The Plains, you need to go east from there till there is a large arch stone of circular structure ahead. From there go down and you will find the Buried Treasure up front.

Buried Treasure in Midgard Realm

Lake of Nine – Viking’s Gift

On the Tyr’s Temple East side, you have to take the left-most path after the bridge appears. Continue to the narrow path that comes and at the right side end, you will find the Buried Treasure.

Lake of Nine – Demise of Dagestr

The second Buried Treasure is also at the Lake of Nine. Here you will find the Mystic Gateway and after passing through it, you need to go toward the building’s other side on the right. There is ice, which you have to blow up and from there go down a path that is new. There are enemies which you can kill by using the explOding pot. After you get rid of the enemies, you can find the Buried Treasure behind you.
