Game Pass subscribers now also have access to a new perk which unlocks all playable Champions in multiplayer game Quake Champions.

id Software recently changed the way it sells its games on Steam, consolidating and re-bundling several of its games from the DOOM and Quake franchises. The changes were made largely to make buying, for example, DOOM 2, much less complicated than it used to be with different versions and expansions.

This change also introduced new bundles for DOOM Classic, the DOOM franchise, and the Quake franchise.

Here are all the new listings for Doom and Quake games:

• DOOM (1993): Ultimate Doom will be renamed to DOOM (1993). No other major changes are being made
• DOOM 2: It will now include Final Doom and master Levels as one install package. DOOM 2, DOOM 2 (Enhanced), Master Levels for Doom 2, and Final Doom can now be launched separately
• DOOM 3: It will now be merged into a package containing the original DOOM 3, along with the Resurrection of Evil expansion and DOOM 3: BFG Edition. The three versions can also be launched separetly. Those who already own DOOM 3 or DOOM: BFG Edition will be upgraded to the new package for free
• Quake 2: The game and its mission packs—The Reckoning and Ground Zero—will be merged into a single install package with launch options.
• Quake 3 Arena: Both Quake 3 Arena and Quake 3 Team Arena will be merged into one package with separate installs for both games.

Phylaks, the Warrior – Destiny 2: Beyond Light

Much of the story in Destiny 2: Beyond Light focuses on harnessing the power of Stasis. Before that though, the player encounters Eramis in Riis-Reborn as she bestows Stasis powers to her followers in the House of Darkness. Upon being discovered, there’s no other choice but to run. Phylaks, the Warrior, also appears to stop you but is completely immune to any damage. Eventually you’ll come back and use the power of Stasis to defeat her before taking down Eramis herself.
