Formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine, the co-op shooter will receive some world premiere gameplay and trailers. There have been plenty of leaks from its closed beta but we’ll finally get to see some official footage. Other titles slated to appear include Riders Republic (which was delayed to later this year), Far Cry 6 (which is out in October), upcoming content for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Rainbow Six Quarantine, and more.

You can also expect updates for Trackmania, The Crew 2, For Honor, Brawlhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion during the pre-show which starts 11 AM PT. Stay tuned for details in the meantime.

Along with announcing another delay for Skull and Bones, Ubisoft offered an update on its current slate of releases. In its recent full year earnings report, it confirmed that Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Quarantine, Riders Republic, Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland and Roller Champions would all be releasing in the current fiscal year ending March 31st 2022. The company touted the line-up as “solid and well-diversified” with “premium and F2P titles” included.

In October 2020, the company said it planned to release Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine between April 2021 and September 2021. Whether either title will still be releasing by September 2021 is unclear. Far Cry 6 was originally meant to release in February 2021 but faced a delay. Design director Ted Timmins offered some kind of update last month when he said that there was “exciting content to show”.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Six Quarantine has been the subject of multiple leaks thanks to an ongoing technical test. Riders Republic is another title that was slated to release in February 2021 before being delayed to later this year. The Division Heartland was only recently announced with plans to release between 2021 and 2022. While it remains to be seen just when each of these games will release, Ubisoft Forward on June 12th could provide some much needed answers. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

Though Ubisoft have been awfully quiet about Rainbow Six Quarantine (or whatever they wind up actually calling it), a number of leaks in the last few weeks have revealed plenty of new details on the co-op PvE shooter, showing new gameplay details and providing glimpses of what the game is going to be like when it finally launches. Now, another leak shows about five minutes of new gameplay footage.

There’s plenty of action being shown off here, and the video encapsulates the structure of missions in the game pretty neatly. Everything from aliens and weapons to gadgets and environments are shown off, and it’s clear that the game seems to be attempting to strike a balance between using familiar elements from other Rainbow Six games (especially Siege) and injecting some of its own new ideas as well. Multiple recent leaks have suggested that Rainbow Six Quarantine is going to be renamed to Parasite, but Ubisoft has said that that’s just a name given to it for internal testing purposes, and that the final name is yet to be revealed.

Ubisoft has previously said that the shooter is going to launch by September by the latest, but new updates on the game have been scant since then. Stay tuned for more details as they come our way.

Rainbow Six Quarantine doesn’t have a release date (or a new name) just yet but all kinds of leaks have been emerging lately. Its technical test was spotted through a Microsoft Store listing. PC requirements for the same were also recently revealed and it seems that one individual has broken NDA to live-stream the test on Facebook.

There are six Operators in the current test – Alibi, Vigil, Ela, Lion, Tachanka and Finka – and the aliens are called Archaeans. Various types of the Archaeans exist with some having bladed limbs to attack with. Players will explore the environment and gather samples while taking care not to alert the Archaeans’ nests (since they can spawn more foes and emit biofilm to slow movement).

Various airlocks allow for transitioning between each section of a zone with the difficulty ramping up further in. If players have gathered enough intel, they can choose to extract or keep going to gather more. Saving Operators who are left behind requires finding and shooting them out of alien trees before taking them to the extraction zone. All in all, it looks very much like Siege’s limited-time Outbreak mode but with several new mechanics at play.

Rainbow Six Quarantine is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, but seems to be coming to Xbox Series X/S and PS5 as well. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

Rainbow Six Quarantine – or whatever Ubisoft actually ends up calling it – has been a big question mark for a while now, but of late, several leaks have been pulling the curtain back in the PvE co-op shooter. We saw some leaked footage not that long ago, and recently, new details of the game also leaked from a technical test. The game’s PC requirements, for instance – or at least the PC requirements of the game’s technical test – have leaked online (via Reddit).

On minimum requirements, for 1080p and 30 FPS gameplay, the game requires either an Intel i5-4460 or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200, alongside either a Radeon R9 290X or a GeForce GTX 960, and 8 GB of RAM. On recommended settings for 1080p and 60 FPS, that’s kicked up to 16 GB of RAM, either a Radeon RX 580 or GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, and either an AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or an Intel i7-4790K.

Ubisoft have said that Rainbow Six Quarantine will be out some time in 2021. Though recent leaks have suggested that it’s going to be renamed to Rainbow Six Parasite, Ubisoft have said that that’s not going to be the game’s final name.

Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Quarantine may have had some gameplay leak but it’s still very much a mystery. Instead of PvP, it’s focusing on co-op PvE akin to the limited-time Outbreak mode from Rainbow Six Siege. A technical test is currently listed on the Microsoft Store (as discovered by nitrowolf2 on Reddit) and offers some new details.

The game will support online co-op for two to three players but also has a single-player component. It will also launch for Xbox Series X/S along with Xbox One with crossplay between the platforms. The official website still only lists it for Xbox One, PS4 and PC so this might be the first positive confirmation of an Xbox Series X/S release (and by extension, PS5).

Interestingly, the listing’s image has the name as “Rainbow Six: [Codenamed] Parasite” which is likely a placeholder title. Ubisoft has already stated that it won’t be called Rainbow Six Parasite, though a name-change is definitely coming. Though it’s not indicated anywhere in the technical test listing, perhaps the shooter could release for Xbox Game Pass as well. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

Gotham Knights

While you could play through the upcoming not-Batman adventure solo, Gotham Knights is also a co-op experience. Levels have been designed to support two players and there’s no restriction on choosing the same hero. Even better is that as you play, other heroes are leveled up alongside you, allowing you to experiment throughout the story. Gotham Knights is out later this year and coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.

Once slated to release in 2020, Rainbow Six Quarantine, or whatever it’ll end up being called (which apparently will not be Rainbow Six Parasite) was pushed back and has been pretty quiet ever since. Well, that silence is broken, at least a little, with some leaked footage.

A whole video was at one time posted, but it has since been taken down and was done so pretty quickly. There is one surviving gif, though, as well as a screenshot grabbed by Reddit user ThyroidMelanin, both of which you can see through the link. There isn’t much here, obviously, but in the gif you can see that there is some nasty gunk that has to be cleared out that probably relates to the overall objective. The screen also points to escort missions being an aspect of play.

As it stands now, Rainbow Six Quarantine is slated to come out this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. There is no time frame and all that we have seen of the game thus far is what is below.

Ubisoft confirmed recently that they’d be changing Rainbow Six Quarantine’s name before its launch- a good idea, considering the situation with COVID all over the world right now. Recently, files uploaded for the game to the PSN servers suggested that its new name would be Rainbow Six Parasite. That, however, is not the case it seems.

In a statement provided to PC GamesN, Ubisoft that some details on recent internal playtesting rounds of the game at the company became publicly available. The name, Parasite, was being used as a placeholder for the same purposes, but is not the final name that Ubisoft have settled on for the game. The publisher says that more details on the tactical co-op shooter and its new name will be shared “soon”.

“While we recently shared that we will be changing the name of Rainbow Six Quarantine, ‘Parasite’ is only a placeholder that our internal teams use,” Ubisoft says. “Recently, we ran an internal test for the game and some of its details became public. We can confirm this is a glimpse of the upcoming game, and we will share more details, including the official name, soon.”

Rainbow Six Quarantine – or whatever it ends up being called – is currently on track to launch before October of this year. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more details on the game.

Given the fact that we’re in the midst of a pandemic and people all over the world have enough quarantines to worry about as is, it’s not surprising that Ubisoft are considering changing the name of the upcoming tactical shooter Rainbow Six Quarantine before it releases. Sure enough, that was what they suggested not too long ago, and it now seems like they’ve already landed on a new name for the game.

As spotted by MP1st, an update for the game has been uploaded to the PSN servers, which very clearly spills the beans on the game’s new title- Rainbow Six Parasite. Images showing the game’s boot screen and Remote Play details via PS Vita also seem to have uploaded, both of which clearly show the game’s new name. Oh, and it also seems Ubisoft are going with a new “Cyberpunk yellow” colour scheme for the game.

Ubisoft have recently said that they are still planning on releasing the game before September end this year, and if that is the case, a re-reveal for it with its new name shouldn’t be far away. Either way, stay tuned for continued coverage.
