After shining on the PS3, these titles deserve to be on PS5.

There’s been quite a lot of talk about backwards compatibility and remasters for the PS5. And while there are plenty of PS4 titles that could benefit from improved visuals and DualSense functionality, several PS3 titles deserve to be brought into the new generation as well. Let’s take a look at 15 PS3 titles that need to be remastered for the PS5.

Killzone 2

While Guerrilla Games has become well-known for the Horizon series, remastering Killzone 2 for the PS5 seems a given. It’s the game that put the company on the map and its excellent visual fidelity, attention to detail, fun gun play and solid multiplayer would make a smooth transition over to the console. If a new sequel on PS5 isn’t coming any time soon, then it makes sense to revisit Killzone 2 in some capacity.

Want to get to the game ASAP? Boy are you in for a treat.

Loading screens are a part and parcel of every game these days. Even when installed and all our advancements in technology, there are times when loading screens are necessary. Of course, some developers try to mask this to not disrupt the flow of the game too much. At times, it works. Other times, we see something that’s so obviously meant to disguise a loading screen as to be annoying. Yes, even if some of them can be skipped. Let’s look at 15 such examples below.

Note: The views expressed in this article are those of the author and do not necessarily represent the views of, and should not be attributed to, GamingBolt as an organization.

Helicopter Ride – Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

As annoying as the credits for each mission can be after a while, the long helicopter rides in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain can be excruciating. It’s pretty cool that you don’t have to suffer any loading times when in the open world but holy hell, does every helicopter ride, regardless of distance, have to be unskippable?
