Xbox October Games With Gold: Gone Home, The Turing Test and More

Though October’s Games With Gold for Xbox Live Gold subscribers may not be as impressive as PlayStation Plus, there are still some pretty good games to check out.

First person adventure title Gone Home will be available on October 1st till 31st and if you’ve played Fullbright’s latest title Tacoma, you’ll have some idea what to expect. The overall story is mysterious and definitely worth experiencing once.

Those who seek something with more puzzles can check out The Turing Test which will be available from October 16th till November 15th. Oxenfree, which was available in September’s Games With Gold, will be available till October 15th.

As for Xbox 360 players, there’s Rayman 3 HD which will be available from October 1st to 15th and represents the limbless wonder’s leap into third person platforming. Medal of Honor: Airborne will be available from October 16th till 31st.

Ubisoft has announced Rayman 3 HD, the high-definition makeover of the much loved classic, is now available to download from Xbox Live and Sony Entertainment Network.

Rayman 3 HD provides 15–20 hours of gameplay and a wealth of extra content to unlock, including nine stand-alone mini-games, achievements and worldwide online leaderboards. In addition, the game has been updated to run at 60 frames per second and offers improved audio quality.

Rayman 3 HD is now available for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and £7.99 on the Sony Entertainment Network.

After the success of Rayman Origins, looks like the beloved franchise is coming back with all guns blazing. Splinter Cell HD got a HD Collection and so Ubisoft is looking to cash in by remastering another popular franchise. Rayman 3 is getting the HD treatment and considering the fact that the game shows off its beauty via art style, we already know what to expect here.

Hopefully, Ubisoft will do a good job and not like they did with the Splinter Cell HD collection. Rayman 3 was released in 2003 and is known as one of the best looking platformers ever.

We don’t have any news on the price or the release date, but we suspect it should cost the same as the current remastered collection and will be released next year.
