Realms of Ancient War Launch Trailer: Off to Murder We Go!

Hackers and slashers! Lend your ears (and that of your enemies), as Focus Interactive’s Realms of Ancient War launches on XBox Live Arcade and Playstation Network for XBox 360 and Playstation 3 respectively.

With three playable classes, co-op action and a nice lengthy quest, RAW will feature the traditional dungeon-crawling, loot-heavy, murdering fun of the genre while also introducing “Incarnation”, that lets you control the most powerful of enemies and run havoc on their fellow brothers.

Realms of Ancient War is already available in Europe with a US release to follow shortly and PC release on October 2nd.

Description: A true and pure Hack’n’Slash that offers intense and challenging combat all while displaying an impressive number of enemies onscreen, RAW multiplies fun and visual spectacle in cooperative mode. In this co-op mode, two players may join forces to face hordes of monsters, some of whom show their menacing faces in today’s video!

In this great adventure meant for playing together, friends may join any time in the game to lend a hand in assaulting monster hordes of growing strength! Cooperative play maximizes team strengths and optimizes all attack tactics. While a Warrior distracts the enemy in melee battle, the Wizard is free to cast his most powerful spells in safety! Good coordination will be required, as the monsters in cooperative mode will be stronger than the monsters of single player mode!

The game will be released for XBLA on September 19th, US PSN on September 25th, and PC on October 4th.

Realms of Ancient War is picking up steam, as Focus Interactive released a new video showcasing the new Rogue class as well as announcing a release date.

As one can see, the Rogue has daggers and the bow to help fend off foes, giving her both long and short range advantages. Her constitution may not be up to scratch but she’s good for laying traps and sneaking by the bigger foes.

Realms of Ancient War will release on Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network on September 19th, and on PC in October.
