Insomniac has announced that Resistance 3 will be getting its first DLC in October. The pack, titled Survival, will introduce a new multiplayer mode called Invasion, where human and Chimera forces have to capture points and hold their forts for as long as they can.

A Survivor skin for the multiplayer and XMB will also be provided with the pack.

Survival launches on October 4 for $3.99.

Resistance 3 will be hitting UK and US shelves this Friday. Reviews have already started coming out, and ours will hit soon too. So stay tuned.
