Earlier today Ninja Theory the developer behind Enslaved: The Lost Odyssey, Devil May Cry Reboot and Heavenly Sword on the PlayStation 3 have tweeted a tease for an upcoming announcement that will be happening tomorrow.

Here is the tweet from Ninja Theory: “Tomorrow. Something new to show.”

Xbox One was just announced a few days ago, so is it possible that it could be a new exclusive title for Microsoft’s next-gen platform? Or could this title be related to Sony? Is it going to be a new IP or a sequel to Enslaved or maybe even Heavenly Sword 2 for PlayStation 4? We will find out tomorrow.

Adrift was originally a PS3 exclusive, and was shown at GamesCom. The twist here is that, it is no longer a PS3 exclusive and is coming to Xbox 360 as well. Howard Bonin, the production director of Adrift had a lot to say to Nowgamer, “Adrift is 50 per cent complete. You will be hearing more from us in the near future. Right now we’re focusing on revealing the art and vision.”

“With games like BioShock, there was a vision but it was the gameplay that received criticisms. We want to hit this focus now, then discuss gameplay when we’re confident.”

“It will be a linear, driven experience, with lots of combat, light exploration and puzzle elements. We’re now wrapping our vision around it.”

OXM UK boasts of a secret Xbox reboot reveal coming in next month’s issue which will be released on September 30, revealed exclusively by them. They’re describing the game as “One of the best games ever made reborn on Xbox 360.”

OXM UK editor Jon Hicks told CVG: “I’ve been discussing it with the publisher ever since the reveal was pushed back, and I’m delighted that it’s finally ready to be seen.

“Unfortunately we aren’t doing the official reveal any more, as our on-sale dates don’t match up, but we will have exclusive access to the game and the studio making it.”

GDC organisers have confirmed that DICE’s yet to be shown Battlefield 3 will be getting a session over at their conference next year.

Kenny Magnusson of the Swedish developer will be taking to the stage in SF and will preside over a session caleed “Lightning You up in Battlefield 3” which will showcase the “the technical implementation of the art direction in BATTLEFIELD 3, the workflows we created for it as well as how all the individual lighting components fit together: deferred rendering, HDR, dynamic radiosity and particle lighting.” Neat, no?

GDC gonna take place in Spring next year, which means you can expect a formal announcement of the game in the not too distant future (cough…VGA 2010…sneeze).

Look what EA Games VP, Patrick Soderlund told recently:

“You’ll know probably sooner than I will. You are going to be able to see it in the not too distant future. The marketing guys would kill me if I told you when,” he said earlier in the month.

Gears of War 3, Final Fantasy and Pixar have also been confirmed to appear at the event next year. More updates as they come in.

VGAs are passe, Sony’s booking their own show to do it!

A teaser image sent by Sony PR to Joystiq confirms that Sony are planning to do a huge PS3 exclusive reveal on Sunday, Dec 11, one day after the VGAs conclude. They are booking their own show for the reveal which suggests that it will be pretty big.

We don’t know whether it will be game-related or hardware but one thing which comes to mind is a certain Uncharted 3.

VG247 reported that the newest issue of the GameInformer magazine includes the newly announced title, Portal 2 in it’s front cover. It was also hinted that Portal 2 might be officialy revealed to the public with it’s first official trailer in next week’s GDC.

No details have yet been confirmed, but like it’s predecessor we can expect the game’s platforms to be: PC, PS3 & Xbox 360.
