Does Son of Rome have a sequel in development already? Crytek neither confirms nor denies.

While Ryse: Son of Rome is yet to release, there has been a rumour going around, stating unnamed sources, that Crytek is already looking to develop more games in the franchise such as Ryse: Knights of England. It is apparently set in Medieval England and would include dragons.

What does that have to do with Son of Rome? Search us.

However on being asked about the same, a Crytek representative recently told VG247 that, “we don’t comment on these kind of rumors.”

Again, it’s neither a confirmation nor a denial, which is enough to just keep discussion open. Ryse: Son of Rome will be launching on the Xbox One worldwide on November 22nd, so its success is still relatively untested. As of now, it has an up-hill battle to fight to show that there’s more to its combat than QTEs. There’s still a lot more to the game than what we’ve been shown, so stay tuned for more details.
