You might not have heard of UK company Semag but it’s responsible for recruiting 3D and character artists for such companies as Guerrilla Games (Killzone: Shadow Fall), Evolution Studios (DriveClub) and Realtime Worlds (Crackdown, All Points Bulletin). An interesting listing for a lead character artist has popped up on CGHub, in which Semag is looking to recruit for a “Hugely Succesful Character Driven AAA Xbox One/PS4 Title”.

The listing invites interested character artists to work “on one of the most creative and exciting games the industry has ever seen, due for release in 2014.” Aside from requirements for high resolution modeling and “high quality” texture creation, it “‘Unreal Engine’ Game experience” has also been listed. So we can assume that it will be running on Unreal Engine 4 which is geared towards next gen consoles.

The question is: Who is it for? Could the listing for both Xbox One and PS4 be meant to throw us off, given how Realtime worked on an Xbox title and both Evolution and Guerrilla specialize in PlayStation titles?
