At the Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live stream, PlayStation’s Shuhei Yoshida announced a collaboration with the developer, and announced Salt and Sacrifice, a sequel to the beloved action RPG.

Salt and Sacrifice will boast the same visual design and more grueling challenge, but that’s not all. The biggest addition here is the ability to play the entire game co-op, which seems like the perfect fit for a game such as this one (or most games, for that matter).

The game is set in a new era and region and sees you playing as a Marked Inquisitor, a criminal condemned who was “spared the hand of justice” but tasked instead with eternally hunting down mages. Check out its announcement trailer below.
