Nordic Games have announced that SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny Second DLC called The Golden Fool is now out worldwide and you can now purchase it.

The pack will available to purchase on Steam from 6pm today, the studio announced, and it is priced at £3.49, and whatever your country’s currency equates to.

In the second of three DLC’s, players can now join in the bitter battle as Carla, one of the non-playable characters from the main game with the aim to win back the legendary “Golden Fool” stone.

“Each DLC offers players a different twist on the tale through elaborating on the backgrounds of those characters that are non-playable in the main game,” said Gennaro Giani, Localization and Production Manager at Nordic Games.

“We’ve packed The Golden Fool with challenging puzzles and tricky situations that will flummox even the most experienced of puzzle solvers.”

The game is set in the Tuscari Desert, the game has a genuine SpellForce feel where the thirst for power is now greater than ever. The Golden Fool is the most precious stone in Amun Kar’s game of stones where players must risk everything to regain it along with Carla’s reputation as the game of stones champion.

Here’s some info on the game:

Four years have passed since the Shaper’s defeat through the use of Archfire. During that time scientists, dragons and inventors have tried to find to counter the mysterious deterioration of the portals – in vain. The portal network has now totally collapsed and the islands are cut off from one another. The dragons and the Shaikan act as the only connection between the races, but even their resources are limited.

Now, with the nations isolated from one another, a new nameless enemy strikes. Eo is completely at the mercy of the attackers ascending from demonic depths. In the midst of this chaos a new hero appears. To discover his destiny our hero must acquire new skills and do battle with enemies new and old. But wherever he goes – the Nameless always seem to be a step ahead, and futile battles break out in which the hero holds the destiny of all of Eo in his hands.
