The origin stories of many broken controllers.

At some point in our lives (or multiple), we’ve all been annoyed at games particularly because of specific enemies they’re throwing at us- the kind of enemies that quickly get on your nerves for some reason or the other. There’s been more than a few of those in games over the years, and here, we’re going to talk about a few.

ZUBAT (POKEMON)

If you’ve spent even a couple of minutes in a cave in a Pokemon game – especially one of the earlier ones – you’ve cursed out at the sight of a Zubat. These pesky Pokemon appear with far too much regularity, forcing players to exit out of battles what feels like one every few seconds. If you don’t have some Repels handy, you’re in for a true test of patience.

There is no shortage of games that use the first-person perspective, but some are arguably more popular than others - and here 15 games that you probably haven't played before.

The first-person shooter genre is one of the most popular in the medium, and there’s been no shortage of games that use the perspective to tell different stories, evoke different emotions, and so much more. On that note, here are 15 of the best first-person single-player games that you probably haven’t played before.

Firewatch

This Campo Santo-developed first-person adventure was released in 2016 and sees players taking the role of a man named Henry who is a fire lookout at a national forest. The game has some great art direction which is also minimalist, alongside quality voice-acting. Firewatch does not have much in the name of action, but the beauty of nature and its environments remains constant throughout. Players will also have to choose dialogues from an options tree, which can significantly impact your relationship with other characters.
