If you thought the Steam Summer Sale was a big deal, then you ain’t seen nothing yet. The Steam Holiday Sale for 2013 is now live, which means tons of discounts and exclusive Holiday Sale Trading Cards.

The sale means that we’ll see eight hour flash sales, Community’s Choice sales and daily deals to offer savings on just about every title you can imagine. More than one hundred games and software will be available on the sale, and if there’s something you don’t like, you can vote which game you’d like to see through the Community Choice.

As for the Holiday Sale Trading Cards, you’ll be able to collect, trade, and craft Holiday Snow Globe Cards which can only be picked up during the sale. There will be 10 of them on offer and those who collect them all will be able to craft a Holiday Sale badge for limited edition rewards. Head here to learn more about these cards.

Valve have announced that the Steam sale is now live and have sent a press release intimating us of that fact. It’s that time of the year folks when Christmas bells are ringing and Gaben brings presents to all, but you gotta pay.

The Steam Holiday Sale is on now and runs until January 5, 2012. There are huge savings throughout the store, with daily deals, flash sales, and catalog discounts. Additionally, every twelve hours there will be a chance for gamers to vote on a select game to go on sale.

“This year, we’ve taken some of the guesswork out of when your favorite games will be on sale. You may now organize your Steam Wishlist and be notified via Steam Mobile and/or email when a game from the list goes on sale as a Daily Deal. The Steam Mobile App is available for both iOS and Android,” Valve said.
