Each has their own distinct attacks from Kara’s summoning of Draugr to fight for her to Eir’s powerful wing shield, Rota’s neck stomping and Hildr’s ice attacks. Street Fighter fans rejoice – Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is now available for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. It retails for $39.99 and includes 12 classic Street Fighter titles in one package.

These include the following games. Keep in mind that online play and training modes are only supported for Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting, Street Fighter 2: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.

For every boss fight in today’s modern age that makes us question our patience, there are boss fights from the old days that did much more. These weren’t bosses that were simply difficult. No, these bosses were metaphorical mountains to climb and by the time you beat them, there was that feeling of something incredible being accomplished. Let’s take a look at 14 of the hardest retro boss fights of all time.

C’thun – World of Warcraft (2006)

If you were bold enough to battle C’thun in World of Warcraft, then you were in for some pain. Introduced with patch 1.9 in 2006, C’thun was insanely tough, randomly swallowing select players and digesting them slowly. Such was C’thun’s power that he could insta-kill raid group members with a single beam attack. Even weakening him for short periods of time did little to affect his health. When Blizzard realized that C’thun was effectively unbalanced, it stepped in to nerf him. Those who were there, however, will remember his terror forever.

Street Fighter Live-Action Series in Development

The team that developed the web series Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist is working on another live-action television series based on the franchise. This new TV show, based on the events of the World Warrior arc in Street Fighter 2, is currently being developed in collaboration with eOne. You can expect those involved in Assassin’s Fist, namely Joey Ansah, Jacqueline Quella and Mark Wooding, to return for this new series.

As per Deadline, Mark Gordon, the President and Chief Content Officer for Film, Television and Digital at eOne, said that, “Street Fighter is a global tour de force franchise, having garnered immense worldwide commercial success and built a vast devoted fanbase that has only grown through its 30 year legacy. We are thrilled to be teaming up with Joey, Jacqueline and Mark, who are already so deeply connected to this brand, to bring this adored story to television audiences everywhere.

“A particular strength of Street Fighter is the wide range of ethnically diverse characters and powerful women featured in the game. It will allow us to build an inclusive and engaging TV universe.”

Street Fighter 2 should be instantly familiar to fighting game fans around the world. Along with introducing many of us to the genre, it brought about series mainstays like Chun-Li, Guile, Ken, Ryu, Blanka and much more. Given how Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist was received, there’s some hope that we’ll get a quality product out of this new show (and not something like, say, The Legend of Chun-Li).

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Announced, Contains 12 Classic Games

Over the weekend during the Capcom Cup at PlayStation Experience, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection was announced for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Releasing in May 2018, it contains 12 games from across the series with several new additions. Check out the trailer below to see the announcement.

There will be “galleries” where players can interact with timelines, view concept art, listen to music in the archives and even view sprites. In terms of online play, it will be available for Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter 3: Third Strike. Along with casual matches, players can partake in ranked play and even place on leaderboards. Lobbies are also supported.

If that weren’t enough, Capcom also announced Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition which would be coming to PC and PS4 on January 16th 2018 with content from Season 1 and 2 of the game (like new characters and stages) along with new V-Triggers and other adjustments.

We have an amazing video for you where Street Fighter II characters fight with Portal guns. I have to wonder why people didn’t think of this before, because it looks awesome.

And as you know, Guile theme goes with everything, but so do Portal guns. This video shows why Portal guns are so amazing. And yeah, one character is in a world of hurt – see for yourself. There is no limit for creativity and hopefully these guys can put Portal guns in a lot of games.
