This year's E3 is jam-packed with awesome reveals - here are a few to expect.

It’s that time of the year again. The Electronic Entertainment Expo is less than a month away and while the actual show will open on June 12th to 14th, pressers from big-name publishers like EA, Microsoft, Sony, Ubisoft and Bethesda will hog the spotlight in advance. Keeping that in mind, here are 30 games to look forward to at E3 2018, including confirmed appearances and titles that are almost guaranteed to receive new information.

The Division 2

Announced just a few months ago, Ubisoft Massive will finally deliver a sequel to its fledgling but ultimately solid third person looter shooter. Of course, there’s next to no information for what’s coming, whether it’s a new city or several, the continuation of the first game’s story and so on. However, the developer has ensured players that past feedback has been taken into account, unlike some other looter shooter sequels. Speaking of which…

Wish all you want but we're highly skeptical of these games appearing.

You’ve heard the rumours, the whispers of games potentially being showcased at E3 2017. Hilariously, some of them like Death Stranding have been confirmed to not appear. What other games have been rumoured to appear but won’t, even with the benefit of the doubt? Let’s take a look at 15 rumoured games that probably won’t appear at E3 2017.

Tamagotchi Game from Bandai Namco

UP2Play had an interesting list on its website back in March. This list stated that many games like Bloodborne 2 and a new Tamagotchi game for Switch would likely appear at E3. There was a lack of sources or validation (and some games on that list have been confirmed as not appearing at the Expo this year). And even if the Tamagotchi game seems…weird, it’s not impossible. Apparently, the original Tamagotchi has made a comeback in Japan. With the Switch reaching incredible heights in popularity since launch, it wouldn’t be the weirdest idea to have Tamagotchi on there, especially if it wants to cater to the mainstream population. Then again, it still sounds ridiculous so we’re going to wait for E3 to be extra, extra sure.

They may or may not appear but we'd love to see these announcements at E3 2017.

Rumour mills around E3 time are always a treat to listen to. The most outlandish rumours suddenly become believable. The most logical things tend to present all sorts of twists and turns. There’s even a new console that will be unveiled this year with Project Scorpio and lord knows if it will have any worthwhile games. Exciting we tell you! But honestly, with the number of things that are constantly rumoured, year in and year out, something interesting is bound to happen at E3. Who knows – maybe The Elder Scrolls 6 is announced (which is most assuredly NOT happening by the way).

Let’s take a look at 15 games rumoured to be appearing at E3 2017, the credible reasons behind the same and whether you should look forward to them or not.

The Evil Within 2

A leaked job listing emerged as early as March 2017 about QA and translation for Psycho Break 2. Target hardware is the Xbox One and PS4. Of course, Psycho Break is the Japanese name for The Evil Within so this pretty much points to The Evil Within 2 being in development. It’s also worth noting that Bethesda VP of PR and marketing Pete Hines talked about RAGE and The Evil Within both doing well enough to warrant sequels. Maybe E3 2017 is the place where one of those comes to light? As it stands, the world could always use more survival horror games with searchlight headed femme fatales and insta-kill mechanics.
