Fast, stylish, frenetic, and beautifully choreographed, this one’s combat system is a fluid and deadly dance against fearsome foes.

Aurogon Shanghai debuted one heck of a trailer for its upcoming third-person action title, Swords of Legends, at Summer Games Fest.

The Arbiter has his hands full against Kong Kong Ji, Master of Cantrips, who brings some spectacular moves to the battlefield. We’re not kidding. The guy brings a literal fireworks display to one of his attacks that can prove deadly if you’re not precise with your dodges.

In fact, you’re probably going to want to dodge through all of his attacks, be it a deadly barrage of red-hot spears that he casts at range, or a similarly heated blade that seems to cut the very air around it as he swipes and stabs at you.

While it may seem that The Arbiter is on the back foot for a while as he chips away at the boss’s health with some quick and fluid attacks of his own, it turns out he is simply biding his time, waiting for the right moment to play an ace: his ability to summon Souls to his side to defend him. The Soul in question is a slightly talkative minotaur who’s able to withstand a lot of the damage Kong Ji unleashes, while staggering him into oblivion with his own attacks.

It looks like you’re going to be mixing and matching your setups with this one, exploiting enemy weaknesses as you make your way through a recreation of Chinese folklore where gods, mortals, and wandering souls all exist on the same plane of reality. We’re definitely eager to dive in, although we only know that it’s coming soon to the PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

With this feature, we will be taking a look at 14 amazing single player games you probably didn't knew were looming over the horizon.

Contrary to an outdated belief, single-player games are far from dying anytime soon – and there are so many great games that are just looming over the horizon. This list will run down 15 some amazing single-player epics that you might not know are coming. These are games are from a mix of lesser-known developers, debut projects, teams that have already set the internet ablaze with hype, and experimental titles that are trying something that’s quite out of the box. Some of these games do have elements of multiplayer or co-op, but each of these games can be played entirely solo as well – so without further ado, let’s dive right in!

Black Myth: Zhong Kui

Black Myth: Wukong was one of the biggest surprise hits of recent memory, but developer Game Science has ensured that it has more games in the pipeline. Much like how Wukong took players to amazing worlds and made them face against awesome bosses, Zhong Kui is all set to take things up a notch above its predecessor. We don’t really know much about the game at this point in time, but it’s going to be a fast-paced adventure with plenty of boss fights and picturesque vistas. There is no release period announced yet.
