SYNCED: Off-Planet Showcases Nano Summons in its Latest Gameplay Trailer

Developer Next Games recently released a shiny new trailer for its upcoming shooter SYNCED: Off-Planet during The Game Awards 2021. Check out the video down below.

SYNCED: Off-Planet sees players clearing hordes of mechanical enemies in a post-apocalyptic setting as the robots pose an ever-looming threat to the society and humanity. The game’s main hook, however, is using summonable robots (called Nanos) to dispatch and distract enemies, as you provide fire support from cover. The trailer showcases several instances of this, as well as the Nano companions players will get to use in the game, from the heavy hitting Crusher to the shield-wielding Guardian to the explosive Suppressor.

SYNCED: Off-Planet‘s alpha kicked off in September this year, as it gears up for its Spring 2022 release for PC via Steam and other storefronts. Level Infinite, a new publishing arm from gaming giant Tencent Games will be publishing the game.

At yesterday’s Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase, NEXT Studios’ sci-fi co-op shooter SYNCED: Off-Planet made a reappearance following a few months of silence, giving us a new look at its story and gameplay. In addition, the developer has also announced an upcoming alpha, in addition to confirming a vague launch window.

An advanced alpha test for SYNCD: Off-Planet will kick off for PC on September 17. There’s no word yet on what exactly players should expect from the alpha, or how long it will remain live, but hopefully those details will come soon. Meanwhile, it’s also been confirmed that the sci-fi shooter will launch for PC globally some time in 2022. When exactly in 2022? We’ll probably know that as we get closer to launch.

SYNCED: Off-Planet is currently only announced for PC. Hopefully, developer NEXT Studios will also decide to bring the game to consoles down the road. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates in the lead-up to the game’s launch.

Next Studios’ upcoming shooter SYNCED: Off-Planet showcased a new re-reveal trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live, and showcases a futuristic dystopia filled with machines and robots posing a life threat to humanity. Check out the trailer below for more details.

SYNCED: Off-Planet is a co-op shooter where players assume the role of the remaining survivors of the species, and must co-operate and fend off these robots in order to get to a safe haven. Furthermore, players can utilize some special abilities which summon companions that can help defeat waves of enemies.

Details on the gameplay front remain scant for now, but tomorrow’s show is supposed to shed more light on that front. Gamescom Opening Live has had a bunch of interesting announcements, including Halo Infinite‘s release date and some brand new gameplay footage for Call of Duty: Vanguard. There’s a lot more to look forward to, so stay tuned for updates.
