Tales of Graces f will come in two versions: Standard Edition and Knight Edition. The latter includes +10 DLC items for tipping the quest in your favour, which includes increased states, healty and money.

Tales of Xillia, however, will allow for choosing either a male or female protagonist and promises two completely different perspectives to the gameplay. Baba states that he’s looking forward to Western fans trying the game out. Considering the response it received in Japan (can you say “hit”?), we’d say Baba has little to worry about in regards to response.

Tales of Graces f was actually released last year on PS3, and is a port of the original game for the Wii. The digital release will offer new players a chance to experience the title as they wait for Xillia.

Fans inn Europe and Asia Pacific will receive the game, an original soundtrack with 12 songs chosen by the team, 4 behind the scenes videos, a high quality hardback art book – all wrapped up in a special folded box. But no, it’s far different, mixing real-time and turn-based combat systems for an immensely satisfying experience. The magic is no slouch either, filling up the screen with flames and bubbles alike.

Not much is really seen of your allies fighting – it’s pretty much showing from your player character’s view. How team-mate interact with each other during battle, aside from standard magic attacks, is definitely worth a look in the coming months when Tales of Graces F hits PS3.

In conjunction with Insert Coin Clothing, Namco Bandai UK are looking for fans to produce their own artwork to be featured on a limited run of exclusive t-shirts.

The best 5 designs will be chosen by Tales of producer Hideo Baba, which will then be put to a vote on the Tales Series Facebook page.

Not only  will the winner get their artwork immortalised in Insert Coin Clothing’s excellent clothing, but will receive 10 t-shirts for themselves, as well as a limited Tales of races f Astro Gaming headset.

The winning design will never be commercially available, but winnable through Namco Bandai’s various community sites.

More interestingly, the interview takes place in the same environment where the Tales games are created. Baba also shows off the Japanese limited edition of Tales of Xilia, signed by him and up for give way via Namco-Bandai Games Europe’s Official Facebook page on July 6th.

Starting today, Namco invite fans of the series to submit their best bits of Tales of creativity to the ‘Your Tales of’ forums, as well as serving as an outlet for fan enthusiasm and passion.

This creative spark can take on any form, from drawings and fan-fiction to video, music and cosplay, provided it related to the wonderful ‘Tales of’ universe.

The best entries will win the auspicious honour of being prinited in a 16-page limited edition ‘Tales of’ booklet accompanying the issue 101 of NEO Magazine, featuring a foreword from Hideo Baba, the iconic producer of the ‘Tales of’ series.
