Set to go live tomorrow, on August 8, the collaboration event will add new cosmetic elements like titles, new stamps for the chat, emotes, and skins to equip your avatar with and take into World Tour and Battle Hub. You can also expect TMNT-themed banners, signage, and other cosmetic elements in the environment when you head into the Battle Hub. Street Fighter 6 will also be doing an Exoprimal collaboration event this Fall. Read more on that through here.

GYOUBU ONIWA- SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE

Gyoubu Oniwa is the first real boss in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and while he can pose a bit of a challenge, you can take him out pretty much in a matter of seconds if you want to. Speedrunner Distortion2, while setting one of his speedrun records on the game, displayed a trick that makes Oniwa chase you across the arena, and then fall to his death off the edge of a cliff.

The Wall – Contra (1987)

Contra is a great game, given two Rambo knock offs a great excuse to shoot their way through a jungle infested by evil solders, turrets and exploding bridges. This challenge of dexterity must finish off in a suitable boss battle right? Well, how about you stand a safe distance away and shoot at a wall for a second.

Really, what more could you want than a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game developed by an actual competent developer? one as great as Platinum, what with their pedigree, and penchant for excellent action games? Platinum already has a track record of good licensed games, what with Metal Gear Rising Revengeance and Transformers Devastation having turned out great- so what could go wrong here, right?

As it turns out, quite a bit. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is not the game we were expecting, and also certainly not the game we wanted to play. It’s not a game you should be spending much time or money on. But if you find yourself with a copy of the title, and want to give it a play through, then hey, at least you have this walkthrough to help you go through it as fast as possible, minimizing your suffering along the way. You’re welcome.

It’s been known, though not officially, for a while now that Platinum Games is working on a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, presumably with Activision (the two also teamed up on The Legend of Korra and last year’s Transformers Devastation). But tomorrow, we’ll finally get to know something about the game, as Platinum is teasing an official leak for the project for January 26.

We also got a neat, brand new teaser image for the game, that’s really not cryptic at all, all but confirming that the new project in question is TMNT. What the new game looks like, however, remains to be seen- but given just how great and fun Transformers Devastation was, and just how great Platinum’s pedigree is, we can probably expect it to be far better than most other licensed titles are.

Whatever it is, color us excited. It’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles done by Platinum, what’s not to like?

In case the existence of the Michael Bay Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie wasn’t enough to offend your sensibilities and diminish your nostalgia for your childhood, the entire situation now gets much worse, thanks to the existence of a tie in game for the movie that will be launching just in time for the movie’s launch later this year. Yes, that’s right, what’s worse than a shitty movie? A (presumably) shitty movie tie in game to go along with it!

Anyway, this game will be releasing exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS (because that really is all the third party support Nintendo can manage now, it seems), and it is being developed by Magic Pockets as a brawler with an emphasis on enabling character switching whenever you want. The four characters play differently, and can be leveled up over time, each having their own strengths and weaknesses.

Activision has finally decided to release a trailer that introduces Michelangelo in the brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of Shadows game.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of Shadows is a new title that features everyone’s favorite old-school ninja turtles. The game will be a third-person scrolling fighter that will include four-player online cooperative play. Get ready to fight your way through with your friends against baddies with your favorite teenage mutant turtles online cooperatively.

Teenage Mutant Turtles: Out of Shadows will be coming out this summer, the title will be available as a digital download via Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Steam for PC.
