Telltale Games has confirmed that Jurassic Park: The Game will be coming to Xbox 360 alongside PlayStation 3 in a simultaneous release this autumn.

Following the announcement of the game’s delay, this will come as good news for those looking froward to some classic pre-historic action.

The Xbox 360 version of the game will come to market in North America as a retail release containing the full series on disc, it says.

The release will be the first product published by Telltale on the platform under their recently signed Publisher Licensing Agreement with Microsoft, but there’s no news on Europe yet.

Telltale’s witty iOS point and click adventure, Hector: Badge of Carnage, is seeing its first episode get a re-release on PC, Mac, and iPad.

The game is an enhanced port of the iOS adventure that was released back in May 2010 by Northern Irish developer Straandlooper. Telltale are working with the developer to bring episodes two and three to all of these platforms too.

If you like point and clicks and absurd humour, you may have just found your next fix.

Here is a behind the scenes video feature where the developers of the game talk about the dinosaurs in the game.  The video shows off some impressive footage as well as the inclusion on the T-Rex and Raptors which the game just wouldn’t be right without.  A new dinosaur is also introduced into the series that will be in the game and it is not a pleasant one.  Jurassic Park: The Game will be out for PC and Mac in April while consoles will see a release this Fall. If you pre-order it now for the PC or Mac you will get the full 5 game episodes for $29.99 which is a savings of $5 off the regular price $34.99f for the whole season/game. Telltale games will be releasing their Jurassic park game this April.  The entire 5 episode season can be pre-ordered here for $30.00 for the PC or Mac but it is unconfirmed if it will be coming to the other rumored platforms such as the Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network, iPhone, Wii and iPad.  I’m thinking it will but we will have confirmation on that soon enough, so stay tuned.  Here is the games official site and the full Press Release below the trailer.

Game Informer has that latest screens for the Jurassic Park game from developer Telltale Games.  The game is currently slated to come out sometime soon this year (Q1 2011) and will be released for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, iPad, iPhone as well as the Wii as an arcade game.  The screens looked pretty good for an arcade game and I’m looking forward to Jurassic Park: The Game based on the movie/novel.  It is supposed to be an episodic game series, which I suppose you will be buying more than just one game if you want to play it all, hopefully they just make the episodes cheaper if that is the case.  Other than the screen Game Informer has more info about the game straight from the developers themselves.  View the rest of the screens and the article here.
