Developer Teyon and publisher Nacon have unveiled a new game during the recent Xbox Partner Showcase. Dubbed Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish, the title will be an adaptation of the Hunter: The Reckoning aspects of the World of Darkness tabletop RPG universe. The title was announced with a trailer, and will be coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in Summer 2027.

While we don’t quite get much in the way of gameplay, the trailer does a good job of establishing the tone that one would expect out of a game set in the same universe as Vampire: The Masquerade. Rather than playing as vampires, however, players will instead take on the role of hunters that are hunting down the creatures of the night and trying to make sure that they can’t take advantage of regular humans.

The trailer showcases how a vampire, working as police officer Shaw, was able to find a victim already tied up, and could use his powers as a policeman to ensure that no one would know about them. We then cut to the hunter’s perspective, showing off all the research they had already done on Shaw, including whether or not they might be a vampire of either the Ventrue or the Lasombra clans.

While not outright confirmed, the trailer indicated that Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish might also include some co-op gameplay, since the end of the trailer features several hunters grouping up before they take on officer Shaw. Each hunter was also seemingly equipped with different weapons and equipment, including shotguns,a hacking device, and a stake to paralyze the vampire.

The final bits of the trailer show us some of the in-game environments, confirmation that it will be a first-person shooter, a quick look at a stealth takedown, and a hideous creature.

Rennsport is a serious sim racer with plenty of potential, but it never escapes Gran Turismo’s shadow, delivering a fun drive that’s constantly undercut by a handful of big drawbacks.

Racing sims always shine when the cars you’re driving around feel authentic to handle. But when the tracks look so immersive they could be real, and the entire experience focused on getting you out of the game’s menus and onto the tarmac as quickly as possible, you get Rennsport. What’s more, its vehicles handle brilliantly once you get a grip on handling them right.

Diving into the game, I was met with a no-nonsense opening bunch of menus that allowed me to choose between driving profiles that reflected my proficiency at racing titles. I tried them all out, and if you’re a casual racing player, I’d recommend picking all of the assists and an easier difficulty setting. You’re still going to be hard-pressed at keeping your wheels on the road even then.

"Even a single error could cost you positions, with the game being as unforgiving to its drivers just like the real thing."

That’s because Rennsport has made its selection of cars feel as close as they can be to the real thing. Getting behind the wheel of an Audi R8 and putting the pedal to the floor gave me a satisfying burst of speed as I thundered down Hockenheimring. But at the first corner, I soon found that the game is about coaxing as much performance as you can out of your vehicle with precise turns and well-timed braking.

Turning on the racing line assist is a great option for casual players, allowing them to gauge distance better and hit those challenging turns and corners at a speed that let them retain control of their vehicle as they work hard to get an edge. Even a single error could cost you positions, with the game being as unforgiving to its drivers just like the real thing.

I found myself constantly being warned about cancelled laps when I attempted to get away with a badly judged turn, and incident points get slapped on to you in the event of a collision with another driver. The AI drivers are quite good at staying ahead and keeping you on your toes, but they can be unrealistically aggressive at times.

Each season is structured like the real thing, with separate sessions for Practice, Qualifying, and the main race. The game doesn’t hesitate to throw the rule book at you either, with flags, penalties, and track limits enforced quite strictly, as they should be in a racing sim that’s aiming for accuracy and immersion.

"Every car on offer behaves differently on the track, and learning how to get the best out of each one is part of Rennsport’s fun."

Online, you could jump into a race quite quickly with the matchmaking working well to find me and a couple of fellow racers. I’d expect it to be much better once the game gets a bit of traction. There are also scheduled events that you can join provided you have the right car unlocked. Overall, the selection of modes to play is among Rennsport’s strengths. You’re never far from your next race, with clean and crystal clear menus making navigating the game’s UI a breeze.

Once you’re in a race, the next few minutes are going to have you absolutely tuned in, with very immersive visuals and audio. Every car looks detailed and stands out with striking decals, which you can change once you start unlocking them.

Every car on offer behaves differently on the track, and learning how to get the best out of each one is part of Rennsport’s fun. With the option to do solo time trials on tracks of your choice, you could master each one in the car of your liking before testing your mettle against your fellow racers either online or through the time trial leaderboards. And with the game being as punishing as it is towards mistakes on the track, you’d do well to take the time to practice before you get to racing.

Standard across cars is a physics system that lends each one its own weight, momentum, and grip limits. That means that each one reacts differently to braking too late or attempting turns outside of a reasonable speed, and your cars either oversteer or understeer wildly and send you crashing into the fence while you’re penalized (and rightfully so) for driving off the track.

"Perhaps I’m nitpicking but I do think that there could have been more variety in the haptic feedback I was getting from different surfaces."

Damage simulation adds a welcome layer of realism to the experience, but it’s not as consistent as it should be. I had moments where a particularly hard crash ripped the spoiler clean off my car and left the boot open for the rest of the race, yet similar impacts on other cars resulted in little to no visible damage.

That inconsistency aside, damaging your car on easier settings generally doesn’t affect its racing performance all that much, though I did have one incident in a BMW hybrid that left me stranded on the track and forced to restart the event. While the lower difficulties tend to shield you from these variables, the damage model ramps up noticeably at higher settings.

That essentially translates to hours spent running laps around tracks in the car you’re about to race, becoming one with the machine while committing every turn and corner to muscle memory so you have a chance at getting ahead in an actual race. This makes Rennsport a racing sim geared towards pro players, its esports ambitions being well-known at this point.

However, given that this is a simulator, it could have used a bit more life at every track, and the lack of crowds and race-day atmosphere feels like a distinct omission. Another area where I believe the game was lacking is in the way different track surfaces felt in terms of the response I was getting from my controller. Perhaps I’m nitpicking but I do think that there could have been more variety in the haptic feedback I was getting from different surfaces.

"Among the cars, I found that the Mercedes AMG GT3 2020 and the Praga R1 were perfect for my tastes."

For casual racers, there’s still a lot to like if you’re looking to get a racing sim that does its job and does it well. Of course, it’s best enjoyed with friends as you veer off the tracks in glorious displays of reckless driving, the game’s physics engine wondering what to do with a driver that attempts to take corners at their car’s top speed.

With compatibility for a variety of controller setups and easily accessible options for driving-focused peripherals, Rennsport could be a decent addition to your library if you like your racing games to feel as close as possible to real-world cars. That said, the single-player career mode is a bit of a letdown, it’s more of a simple ladder where you start as a rookie and work your way up to Pro, and it never quite feels as fleshed-out as it should.

Rennsport definitely benefits from its performance, which was excellent on the PS5 as I tore down a straight, the road immediately picking up marks from my tires as I frantically braked to ensure I was, quite literally, staying on track. It’s very immersive and I did find myself staring at the scenery instead of keeping my eyes on the road. On the base PS5, the Dualsense’s haptics rumbled along as I pushed my tires to their limits, or anytime I shifted gears.

Among the cars, I found that the Mercedes AMG GT3 2020 and the Praga R1 were perfect for my tastes. The Pragda, in particular, was the one that appealed the most to me, accelerating out of corners like a missile while its braking and handling at sharper turns allowed me to take risks I wouldn’t have even thought about with another car.

"The standard version only includes 17 cars and 13 tracks, and it’s unclear how additional content will be delivered in the future."

You’re likely to find a different pair of favorites if you decide to pick up Rennsport considering how each car felt distinctly different on the track. Speaking of tracks, there’s 13 tracks and 15 layouts with some very big names to be found among them.

Coupled with the game’s solid performance, this made the entire racing experience very good and this one’s easy to recommend to racing fans who take a professional approach to their time behind the wheel. With a plethora of options to customize your experience and the manner in which your car responds to your commands, Rennsport takes its racing as seriously as it can for a title from a brand new studio.

But if your interest in racing is to just floor it and hope for the best, this isn’t the game for you. Its learning curve is quite steep, requiring hours of focus and practice before you get some momentum. Like with learning music, you don’t just practice till you get it right in Rennsport. You practice till you can’t get it wrong. If that sounds tedious to you, give this one a pass.

"Rennsport has no illusions about what kind of game it is. It’s aimed squarely at pro racers and does everything it can to earn their respect."

All of it sounds really good, until the game makes two big blunders. There’s an in-game store where you can buy cosmetic liveries, which some players might be fine with, but then you discover that certain content is locked behind the Deluxe Edition, like Nordschleife x Porsche 911 GT3 R. That’s pretty disappointing, because paywalling playable content behind special editions always leaves a bad taste. The second blunder is the lack of content: the standard version only includes 17 cars and 13 tracks, and it’s unclear how additional content will be delivered in the future.

Rennsport has no illusions about what kind of game it is. It’s aimed squarely at pro racers and does everything it can to earn their respect. However, it stumbles in enough areas that it can’t quite stand alongside the likes of Gran Turismo just yet. Whether those issues will be addressed remains to be seen, but for now, Rennsport is a decent racer with some notable caveats.

Launching on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, the bundle includes the base game and Unfinished Business expansion for $49.99.

Teyon’s RoboCop: Rogue City is receiving a complete edition on October 30th. Retailing for $49.99, RoboCop: Rogue City Collection includes the base game and the paid expansion, Unfinished Business, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.

Rogue City is an original story set between the second and third films, with RoboCop as the protagonist. Alongside shooting baddies, they could patrol the streets, gather clues for investigations and even arrest suspects. It became Nacon’s biggest launch by that point – check out our review for more details.

Unfinished Business launched this past July and sees Murphy venturing to a housing complex captured by mercenaries, led by someone linked to his past. While you have to deal with new threats, there are new weapons like the Cryo Cannon, and it’s even possible to control ED-209 during some sequences.

While it’s an expansion, it doesn’t require owning the base game. Head here for our thoughts, and stay tuned for further possible RoboCop announcements in the future.

Teyon’s standalone chapter builds on Rogue City’s excellent gameplay loop with a well-paced story, excellent writing, and a polished experience that could have been longer but still delivers on all fronts.

After rolling the credits on Polish developer Teyon’s latest outing with Robocop, a name that needs no introduction among fans of sci-fi and action adventures, I must say I’m quite impressed with the short (but very thrilling) standalone chapter that the studio has produced.

Alex Murphy’s latest assignment in OmniTower, an ominous building overrun by mercenaries looking to get the OCP on their side by hook or crook, sees him take on literal armies and remain the last one standing, his deadpan expression never wavering even when faced with overwhelming odds.

If anything, I found myself wishing that Teyon had taken the time to make a full-blown sequel out of the well-paced main narrative, further fleshing out its antagonist’s motivations and an intriguing bunch of side characters who do not get enough time in the spotlight.

"Unfinished Business stands out as a solid Robocop experience."

However, that may have risked losing out on a pace that never lets up over the game’s runtime, which made the romp through Detroit City’s latest monstrosity all the more entertaining and fun. It’s a balance that Teyon has achieved with style – and substance.

Unfinished Business stands out as a solid Robocop experience that brings a lot of cool moments and a bit of brevity to the character, making it worth your while if you’re thinking of trying it out.

The OCP’s Finest Got A Whole Lot Finer

As someone who didn’t get the chance to play Rogue City back when it was released, Unfinished Business was a refreshing take on a first-person shooter that put me in the shoes of a character that can take quite a few bullet hits without folding over in agony.

The game’s normal mode proved quite a challenge while its hardest difficulty made me realize just how much I suck at shooter titles before I switched over to the easiest difficulty to breeze through its very engaging story and side missions.

And what a story it is! Teyon is very quick to introduce Robocop’s latest group of adversaries and send the titular hero quickly on his way to OmniTower. It cleverly provides a plot twist early on as a reason for Robocop launching a one-man battle against the mercs while holding back their leader for a grand entrance that carried a lot of weight.

Cassius Graves treads a dangerous line between a well-meaning anti-hero and a one-dimensional villain, partly due to the game’s shorter runtime. But his ability to keep Murphy on his toes and the little bit of insight into his motivations allows him to be a formidable opponent, making his unfinished business (pun intended) with Robocop hit hard and fast on the narrative front.

"Speaking of enemies, they come in large numbers and are found in nearly every area of OmniTower."

Other characters come and go, with the game introducing a few sequences where you get to control characters other than Robocop, with one very special addition towards the endgame that I’d rather not spoil. These sequences provide a nice break from the carnage that Murphy inflicts with his trusty Auto 9 pistol and a limited selection of weapons that quickly become familiar and forgettable once you pick them up off the corpses of your enemies and use them till their ammo runs out.

Man And Machine

Speaking of enemies, they come in large numbers and are found in nearly every area of OmniTower. Taking them down forms the crux of Unfinished Business’ gameplay loop, and things get real quite quickly once you get a rhythm going.

You get to equip a secondary weapon in addition to the Auto 9, and aside from a dash move, a flashback, and a limited supply of healing stims, Robocop is more or less all alone against the world when he’s taking on Graves’ forces in OmniTower.

Graves has managed to supply his forces with an assortment of assault rifles, SMGs, heavy caliber pistols, a cryogenic gun, and a few other killing tools that are gradually introduced as the game goes on. There are also drones that swarm you in the air, explode at your feet, or even come at you wielding deadly katanas courtesy of an arrangement with OCP rival Kanemitsu.

However, Murphy brings a few tricks of his own, with the ability to use Robovision to identify exploding barrels, special panels that let him pull off ricocheting shots, or grabbing enemies near certain environmental objects to quickly – and brutally – take them out of the equation. Health pickups and ammo were fairly generous, although I did find myself desperately searching for them in certain battle-heavy sections on higher difficulties.

When he’s not spreading carnage among enemy forces, Robocop’s time in OmniTower is spent solving mildly challenging puzzles to unlock access to his next objective or perhaps helping a few residents of OmniTower whose needs range from fairly ordinary to truly bizarre. These side quests are usually fun detours and allow you to choose a more humane side of Robocop when you select between dialogue choices in conversations.

"Completionists might have an easier time unlocking all of Murphy’s upgrades, making Robocop a formidable presence in OmniTower."

It’s a gameplay loop I found quite entertaining, with Treyon upping the ante every time I began to get too comfortable. It made me think carefully about any upgrades I made to my skills and the Auto 9’s combat capabilities. I was able to max out a couple of skill trees by sticking to the main story with an occasional side mission thrown in.

Completionists might have an easier time unlocking all of Murphy’s upgrades, making Robocop a formidable presence in OmniTower.

No Place Like Home

OmniTower does not bring a lot of variety to its hallways and open spaces, with a few notable exceptions at its higher levels. However, Teyon has done well to maintain a consistent framerate and a strong level of visual fidelity for the most part. I did not encounter any frame drops or stutter during my time in OmniTower, while Robocop’s armor looked resplendent in cutscenes.

The level of detail on display in Unfinished Business was quite impressive. Enemies exploded quite satisfactorily when sprayed with bullets, while explosions of fire and ice looked quite realistic. Teyon’s attempts to replicate the infrastructure of a tower as massive as OmniTower are pretty immersive, while character designs were top-notch.

In its residential areas, OmniTower’s presence served as a reminder of corporate greed overtaking empathy for the displaced citizens of Detroit, with piles of garbage and signs of obvious neglect showcasing how it was Detroit’s unfortunate people who once again suffered the consequences of OCP’s ravenous thirst for profits.

Realistic touches like a radio show that showcased the company’s penchant for selling products that were detrimental to Detroit’s populace while Robocop’s investigations with Robovision remain faithful to the original films with their greenish hues and overlays working well with a digital HUD that would be considered truly rudimentary by modern standards.

"Peter Weller’s return as Robocop is everything you’d expect from his take on the character, while the game’s voice acting cast does a solid job at bringing its characters to life."

The impressive visuals and smooth performance in Unfinished Business worked well with its excellent audio design that emphasizes each thump of Robocop’s footsteps and very satisfying splats whenever I managed to score a headshot or blow an enemy’s kneecaps out. While there were instances of the audio being out of sync during cutscenes, they were few and far between and did not ruin the overall immersion that Teyon has managed to achieve.

The game’s score gets the job done for the most part, with the endgame bringing some excellent tunes to accent the action, creating moments that I will look back on quite fondly whenever I’m reminded of Murphy and Robocop. Peter Weller’s return as Robocop is everything you’d expect from his take on the character, while the game’s voice acting cast does a solid job at bringing its characters to life.

A Frantic, Focused Experience

Like I said before, I wish there was more of Unfinished Business to go around. While I do appreciate Teyon’s efforts to set a narrative pace that rarely let up on the action while interspersing it with moments of character development, I can’t shake the feeling that Robocop’s latest outing could have been so much more.

Graves and the game’s supporting cast suffer the most from its short runtime despite Teyon’s best efforts to give them engaging backstories that justify their actions over the course of the story. Those backstories were so good that I can’t help but wonder at what the studio might have done with them if it had envisioned its standalone chapter as a full-blown sequel.

Alas, I must reconcile with the fact that on some occasions, less is more. And despite my griping, Robocop: Unfinished Business is a solid experience that is sure to bring a smile to anyone looking for a power trip without comparison.

If you’re returning to Detroit after Rogue City, expect a few novel twists on its gameplay loop. And if your time in OmniTower is your introduction to Teyon’s take on Robocop, expect a hell of a good time, no matter how short that is.

Developer Teyon is bringing back its excellent take on Robocop in a new standalone expansion that blends the best of the original game with some exciting new additions.

Robocop: Rogue City was among 2023’s most exciting games, with Polish developer Teyon bringing one of popular culture’s most iconic characters to life on current-gen systems in a way that remained faithful to the original films while taking Robocop’s adventures forward in ways that resonated with fans and newcomers alike.

As a first-person shooter that carried the challenge of imitating Robocop’s sluggish movements and raw firepower, Rogue City made clever choices in how it established continuity between the original films while managing to stand on its own two feet as a game that allowed fans to live out a power fantasy that was very well-received.

Teyon hasn’t been content to rest on the laurels it received for its excellent adaptation, however, and Unfinished Business is the result of its determination to bring more to the story than it originally intended. With a little over two weeks to go before Robocop: Rogue City Unfinished Business hits the shelves, here are a few things to keep in mind before you decide to pick up a copy and dive back into the madness of a man and machine working as one.

#15: Unfinished Business Is A Standalone Expansion

While it was originally meant to be a DLC chapter to Rogue City’s excellent story, things soon snowballed over at Teyon, and Unfinished Business is now a standalone expansion to the main game. You don’t need to own a copy of the original game and can dive into this one with a passing knowledge of the Robocop franchise.

What’s more, Unfinished Business is set to take Alex Murphy’s story forward in exciting ways while giving players an opportunity to engage with a lot of cool gear and story beats all on its own – more on that as we look at other features on our list!

#14: OmniTower Takes the Stage In Unfinished Business

The OCP is up to its usual tricks, with its latest project looking to give Detroit’s upstaged residents an affordable housing option. That project is none other than OmniTower, meant to be a safe haven for Detroit’s displaced citizenry. Things don’t exactly go to plan, however, and in typical Robocop fashion, the OCP’s new building is now the staging ground for an exciting battle between its best soldier and a mercenary group looking to take control of the company’s tech.

It’s the perfect stage for Murphy’s unique brand of justice, and things are sure to heat up as soon as the curtains rise on Teyon’s latest outing.

#13: The ‘Cop’ in Robocop

Unfinished Business is poised to take a look into Alex Murphy’s murky past as a police officer, with flashback sequences aimed at further fleshing out his motivations and origin story as the ultimate weapon against crime – organized or otherwise.

Getting to play sequences as Alex Murphy would be a great way for the developers to explore what makes Murphy a great cop, and a suitable candidate for the Robocop program. It’s also an opportunity to include more iconic moments from the original films, and maybe even some of the campy humour that made Robocop so popular in the first place.

#12: A More Focused Adventure

While Robocop’s slow movements are a conscious choice from Teyon as it aimed to present an authentic take on the character for its players, Unfinished Business has been designed to provide an experience that ups the ante for Murphy while not being too long or tedious in terms of its gameplay loop.

To that end, the new expansion should take you anywhere between 8-10 hours to complete based on how good you were with the base game’s refreshing take on Robocop’s weaponry and combat capabilities. It’s also the reason why the developers decided to let the new story unfold entirely within the confines of OmniTower.

#11: Rebalanced Progression Systems

Keeping in line with the expansion’s shorter runtime in comparison to the base game, Unfinished Business is bringing a rebalanced progression system that speeds up your path to valuable upgrades and cool new abilities. It’s a great way to account for the changes that Teyon is bringing to the table while also ensuring that a shorter story does not let up on the excitement that put Rogue City on the map in the first place.

The new progression system and skill trees are sure to work well with other additions to the upcoming expansion, creating an experience that might just leave its players wanting more when they roll the credits on Murphy’s latest tryst with Detroit’s criminal element.

#10: New Weapons

While Murphy will continue to rely on his trusty Auto 9 gun as the bread and butter of his assault on overwhelming enemy forces, Teyon has also hinted at a new roster of weapons that can aid his cause. Chief among them is the Cryo Gun, a weapon originally wielded by the game’s new antagonists that you get to commandeer and use with potentially devasting effects on enemy grunts unfortunate enough to find themselves fighting Robocop.

Its new freezing mechanic is sure to add new wrinkles to an already entertaining combat loop that will continue to feature the brutality and ruthless efficiency that Murphy is known for, while other additions could potentially help him decimate enemy forces with his trademark style.

#9: New Enemies

Robocop isn’t the only one bringing new skills and weapons to the table, as the new mercenary group he is poised to face in Unfinished Business come with a few handy tricks of their own. There are snipers who like to keep their distance fighting alongside airborne drones that can prove to be quite a nuisance in the field. Tougher enemies with improved armor can keep the pressure on Murphy while there are even OCP cyborgs equipped with katanas that could even turn the tables on Robocop if he plays his cards wrong.

It’s clear that Murphy’s expanded arsenal is going to be measured against his latest enemies’ expanded skill sets in battles that push everyone’s favorite blend of man and machine to his very limits.

#8: A New Combat Loop

With OmniTower’s potentially cramped spaces and a host of enemies hell-bent on bringing down the walking tank in front of them, combat in Unfinished Business is all set to bring the fight to Murphy. Tight spaces and limited room to manoeuvre, along with more variety in enemy types that are more aggressive than the ones in the base game are set to make the new expansion feel more frantic, and perhaps even harder than Murphy’s most recent effort to end crime.

You’re going to need every bit of the firepower that Robocop’s new abilities and arsenal provide if you wish to be the last one standing in what is shaping up to be a very dangerous indoor battlefield.

#7: New Ways To Deal With Enemies

While your enemies attack in greater force and bring new wrinkles to the combat loop, Teyon has ensured that Murphy is also equipped to turn the tables when the moment presents itself.

The environments in OmniTower are set to play a key part in the game’s combat loop, allowing Murphy to ricochet bullets off special panels in order to take out snipers or bypass enemy shields. You could also decide to use vending machines or other specially marked items to take out that pesky cyborg or drone when the chance presents itself.

It’s only right to use every advantage at your disposal against a new enemy group that seems well-equipped in their effort to deal with Robocop. Remember, justice delayed is justice denied!

#6: The OCP May Not Be As Helpful As They Used To Be

While the main story in Unfinished Business is currently under careful guard, we do know that the new mercenary group that takes on Robocop does so after raiding the OCP and taking control of a lot of their tech. The RoboChair is among the most significant items in their stolen inventory, presenting a problem for Murphy that he may want to solve sooner rather than later if he plans to stay alive long enough to take them down.

It’s a clever move from Teyon, as it raises the stakes for Robocop by removing one of his most important allies in the field from the equation. It’s also a brilliant way to bring new twists on the core gameplay loop in Rogue City, many of which are sure to keep Murphy on his toes in the field.

We’re confident that the legendary supercop will manage well enough without them, though.

#5: A More Human Perspective

While the OCP’s equipment may not be accessible as Murphy would like it to be, the same does not go for its people. Every hero needs their guy in a chair feeding them helpful information from afar, and Unfinished Business is no different.

Enter Miranda Hale, an OCP scientist whose motivations are currently unclear, who not only helps Murphy take on the mercenaries, but is also set to be a playable character with sequences of her own. She is sure to bring interesting twists to the tale being presented, while perhaps developing a turbulent working relationship with Robocop as she goes about her murky mission.

#4: Cassius Graves Leads The Mercenaries

Every shadowy group of antagonists leads a charismatic and mysterious leader. That dubious privilege falls to Cassius Graves, a man whose sense of justice is a little too skewed for Murphy’s tastes. He is assisted by Douglas Cole, a mercenary with the more familiar motive of serving the highest bidder.

These new antagonists are poised to create a lot of problems for Murphy to solve while their army tries to stop him at every step of the way. Be ready to face a lot of dastardly traps and devious schemes as these new antagonists do their utmost to relegate Robocop to the scrap heap!

#3: A Not So Lonely Adventure

While Anne Lewis and Sergeant Warren Reed are on the cast list for Unfinished Business, Murphy is also slated to meet a few denizens of OmniTower who need his assistance. The morality system featured in Rogue City could very well make a triumphant return in the new expansion, giving Murphy a few troubling choices that could have lasting consequences just like they did in the base game.

Keeping an eye out for them is going to be well worth the effort if 2023’s hit is any indication!

#2: The OG Robocop Is Back

Peter Weller is the voice of Alex Murphy and Robocop, bringing all of his deadpan line deliveries and trademark charm to the role of a character that he once played with aplomb in the original films.

His presence in the game’s cast is sure to bring a layer of nuance and emotional depth to a character he is great at playing and is sure to make those flashback sequences of Murphy all the more memorable as a result.

#1: A Little Bit of ED 209 Never Hurts!

Perhaps the part of Unfinished Business that we are most excited about, we get to control the ED 209 prototype in a few sequences of the new expansion! This precursor to Robocop comes with the trademark arsenal it has been known for, wielding it with deadly force in the upcoming game.

If Robocop is not the limit of your desire to dispense justice, look no further than the ED 209 which seems poised to be an important part of the story as well!

We would love to hear your thoughts on Unfinished Business’ new additions, and what you’re most excited to try out when it releases on July 17, 2025 for the PlayStation 5, XBox Series X|S, and PC.

Venture into OmniTower to stop a group of mercenaries when the standalone expansion launches on July 17th for consoles and PC.

Nacon and Teyon have released a new trailer for RoboCop: Rogue City’s Unfinished Business, which runs down everything you can expect in the standalone expansion. Check it out below.

Taking place after the base game’s story, Unfinished Business sees RoboCop facing an unexpected individual from Alex Murphy’s past, Cassius Graves. With a group of armed mercenaries, he’s taken control of the OmniTower and plans to take control of all OCP tech. RoboCop must thus infiltrate the building and stop him.

There’s plenty of opposition to deal with, though. Besides armored mini-gun-wielding mercs, drones and explosive rollers, he also has to contend with cybernetic katana-wielding enemies. Fortunately, he has an arsenal of capable weapons, including a new addition: the Cryo Cannon. Gameplay for ED-209, which is playable, is also showcased, with Teyon promising a “different experience” as the Enforcement Droid.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business launches on July 17th for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.
RoboCop goes up against a group of mercenaries led by Cassius Graves to take back the OmniTower in this standalone expansion.

Teyon’s RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business, a standalone expansion to its popular 2023 first-person shooter, is out next month for current-gen consoles and PC. To further build hype, a new trailer is available, detailing the new characters and antagonists.

The story revolves around OmniTower, a new OCP project, being taken over by a mercenary group led by Cassius Graves. Touted as charismatic and possessing a warped sense of justice, he’s keen on controlling all OCP technology. He’s also a former ally of Officer Alex Murphy before the latter’s transformation into RoboCop.

Douglas Cole is Graves’ right-hand man and serves the “highest bidder.” On the other side is Miranda Hale, who provides RoboCop assistance in the OmniTower, though as a former OCP scientist, she seemingly knows more than she’s letting on.

Returning characters include Sergeant Warren Reed and Officer Anne Lewis (partner to Murphy and RoboCop). And yes, the ED-209 also appears. RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business launches on July 17th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our review for the base game here.

The standalone story expansion has RoboCop ascending the OmniTower to stop mercenaries from seizing control of OCP tech.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business, Teyon’s standalone story expansion for the hit first-person shooter, is launching on July 17th. Check out the latest story trailer below.

The story sees armed mercenaries controlling OmniTower, a recently established housing project. Their leader seeks the core to overtake all OCP technology, with some components stolen from the precinct in Metro West. Since that includes RoboCop, stopping him is a priority.

Complications arise when it’s revealed that the leader is a former teammate of Officer Alex Murphy. Players will experience missions pre-RoboCop transformation, so it’s possible something happened to cause a split.

How things will pan out remains to be seen, but navigating OmniTower will be challenging due to various traps and turrets. The mercenaries are also no pushovers, sporting high-powered weaponry.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details and check out our review for the base game.

Assail OmniTower to take on some well-armed mercenaries as RoboCop or revisit Officer Alex Murphy's past in brand new missions.

During the latest Nacon Connect, Teyon revealed a standalone “extension” for RoboCop: Rogue City called Unfinished Business. Launching in Q3 2025, it sees RoboCop venturing into OmniTower to deal with some mercenaries taking up unlawful residence. Check out the trailer below.

While Murphy is over-equipped for your average thugs, OmniTower’s enemies are no pushovers. Some boast extensive armor and miniguns, while others have jet packs and katanas. You also have to destroy turrets, drones, and self-destructing bots. Even the ED-209 returns for an encore.

Fortunately, Murphy has some new tools to help, including the Cryo Cannon. Aside from OmniTower, Unfinished Business includes missions where you’ll control Murphy before his transformation. It’s a different vibe since he’s much more vulnerable, but it should provide another dimension to the character (especially with actor Peter Weller returning).

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, so stay tuned for more details. Check out our review for the base game in the meantime.
