Mastertronic  has today released the  action adventure The Cursed Crusade for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

The stunning action adventure fuses established historical myth with a new demonic twist. Set against the backdrop of the majestic Old World, The Cursed Crusade’s cooperative third-person action-adventure tale of damnation and deliverance will consume you. Centred around a pair of cursed warriors fighting to save their souls, The Cursed Crusade marries the beauty and wonder of medieval Europe with thrilling adventure and dark fantasy.

The Cursed Crusade is available now to purchase in the UK for PlayStation, Xbox 360  and PC.

The Cursed Crusade has been delayed slightly, just until October 25th when it will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.  This new trailer highlights the games story in this epic Action-Adventure title.  The game is also conveniently priced at $39.99, much cheaper than the normally priced retail game.  A demo has also been confirmed to be on the way and before the games release too.

The demo will take players through “the Assault on Castle Biron mission, a fortress siege set on a fiery summer’s eve. Under a barrage of flaming arrows and faced with a full armament of defending soldiers, the player, as Templar Denz de Bayle, must fight alongside partner Esteban Noviembre to break through the castle defenses, defeat the enemy forces, and ultimately confront a de Bayle family friend, Martin d’Algais.”

Mastertronic have  released the cinematic prologue for The Cursed Crusade.

The prologue sets the scene for what is set to be an epic adventure, revealing the cleverly intertwining narratives that make up The Cursed Crusade’s central storyline. Beginning with Jean De Bayle, the prologue goes on to introduce central character Denz de Bayle and his companion in arms, Esteban Noviembre.

The latest trailer highlights the  fighting techniques available within the game, with over 100 different attacks and over 100 finishing moves. Players will be able to utilise a vast array of weaponry including swords, axes, spears and shields. They will also be able to fight using objects:  barrels, buckets, wells and more, can be used to dispose of enemies. Also revealed in the latest trailer are brutal finishing moves that players will be able to perform by working with friends in the game’s co-op mode.

The Cursed Crusade is scheduled to be released in the UK 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

A new trailer for upcoming action title The Cursed Crusade shows how the eponymous curse will impact upon the player’s experience.

A gameplay and cinematic trailer has been sighted for Atlus’ upcoming co-op action adventure title.

Atlus USA has announced The Cursed Crusade today, the game will be releasing in 2011.

Developed by Kylotonn Entertainment, the game is set near the end of 12th Century Europe and the story centers around two cursed warriors as they embark on a quest to redeem themselves. According to Atlus, it combines the beauty and wonder of medieval Europe which is backed by thrilling adventures and dark fantasies.
