Gio Corsi, executive producer at LucasArts Singapore, has announced somethings about the future DLC for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 and spoken with IGN about the ‘infinite storyline’ of Starkiller.

Corsi has said the DLC will take place on the Ewoks home moon of Endor and that there will be battles with the little fury warriors. “Who knows where the infinite storyline can take Starkiller, there are so many possibilities but right now we are focusing on the Endor Bonus Mission.. There are a number of new achievements and trophies. One of the team’s favorite is the ‘Sith Kicker‘ Achievement but I’ll let you figure that one out for yourselves.” Cosri said.

He went on to say that the DLC length is comparable to the length of the previous DLC packs for the first game, which is disappointing, but lets just hope they are not as pricey. “He [Starkiller] does have the same abilities as he did in TFU2 which allows Starkiller to start kicking ass right from the get go,” said Cosi as he has been leveled differently for the DLC “since this adventure falls into the infinite universe.” The Ewoks and their DLC are coming later this year as well as a character skin pack coming soon for around $1.

A demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 is now available for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for download. The demo is outstanding I must say. The mechanics are all there from the first one just tighter and smoother as well as added abilities/moves. You can do everything you can do in the first but much more. The graphics are great and the cinematics are wonderful. The demo gives you a great lead in to the story of the game and definitely will make you think about picking this game up after playing the demo, fan or not. The full game comes out October 26th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, DS, PC and even an iPhone version. You would be missing out by not giving this demo a try, so go download it!

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is set for a release this October 26th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC, Wii and DS. By pre-ordering the game at Gamestop, you will get an exclusive character skin as well as a silver lightsaber crystal that isn’t just for show. The character you get is ‘Maulkiller’. The character was basically made up with a short lived lifespan just for your Force Unleashed 2 enjoyment. Was his story ridiculously created with a character plot that doesn’t make sense and would never really happen in the true Star Wars Universe? ..Yes.. But at the same time, for the game and as a pre-order incentive, I think it is actually pretty cool.. strictly for the game of course and you can’t forget the Maulkiller Silver Saber crystal as well. Here are the details straight from Gamestop:

Purchase Star Wars The Force Unleashed II and receive a GameStop exclusive in-game Maulkiller skin and silver saber crystal.

Maulkiller Skin – In the cloning facilities of Kamino, Darth Vader created a warrior of unparalleled strength and power by combining the genetic material of Darth Maul, former apprentice of Sith Lord Darth Sidious, with his own apprentice, Starkiller. The resulting aberrant clone possessed traits from both warriors, but the crude fusion of two disparate Force users quickly produced physical and mental instabilities that led to the unfortunate clone’s destruction. For a brief time he struck fear into the hearts of all who faced him, even Lord Vader himself.

Maulkiller Silver Saber Crystal – The perfect companion to the Maulkiller costume, the silver crystals make his dual lightsabers look like an extension of the silver Zabrac styled tattoos that cover his body and face. This powerful crystal allows the player to consume less Force Energy when using Force Powers so that he can devastate his enemies.
