Chernobylite is set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, not unlike the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. As a physicist entering the Zone looking for their loved one Tatiana, you must prepare for the journey with different companions, cultivate relationships and ultimately survive. Depending on the choices made, you may have to choose between your beloved or your allies.

Since this is an RPG, players have different choices for how they’d like to play (as seen in the PC Gaming Show trailer). Go stealthy or loud, craft different weapons and gear, modify weapons and unearth more information to survive. Chernobylite is out on July 28th for PC, Xbox One and PS4 with Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions coming later.

The story focuses on Briar and Lute, sisters who have become Chimera. While the former has gained enhanced strength, the latter possesses mystical powers (at the cost of her soul being bound to her sister) that can weaken foes. Voiced by Stefanie Joosten of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain fame, Soulstice sees the sisters fighting against horrendous monsters and attempting to save their city.

Thus far, the gameplay sounds interesting. Both the sisters are controlled simultaneously while customizable weapons that can be switched in combat allows for extensive combos. Numerous enemy classes like Wraiths, Possessed and more await on the sisters’ journey of mystery and self-discovery. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

As the hero Toe, players will need to find a ship and maintain it while finding the way back home. Throughout the game, players will uncover the mysteries surrounding the world’s current state. Of course, that ship won’t hold itself together for very long and you’ll need to scavenge for parts to keep it going.

Sometimes, it will be possible to leave the ship to either dive into the surrounding water for materials and supplies or explore various dilapidated structures and so on. FAR: Changing Tides will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch in late 2021. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

Essentially, players have 25 seconds each turn which can be used to attack or set up the next action. However, depending on what you do, your opponent can intercept an action in their turn. Across five rounds, you’ll have to find a way to attain victory. There’s a varied cast of characters with their own unique loadouts and special abilities including slowing down time, protective orbs and more.

Squads are composed of ten characters and you’re in charge of coordinating the game plan for survival. Lemnis Gate is intriguing and you can bet there will be more gameplay in the lead-up to launch. Stay tuned for more announcements from the PC Gaming Show in the meantime.

Along with new maps, there will be new weapons and even a new fighting style. The development team is looking to support the game with free content updates for a while. In the process, the game will “at least” double in size. Chivalry 2 is currently available for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and PC with cross-platform play available.

The first person hack and slash title offers Team Deathmatch and Team Objective modes with up to 64 players participating. It offers improved combat over the original along with mounts for faster movement. Stay tuned for more details from the PC Gaming Show in the meantime.

In terms of length, the show will be 90 minutes long and features 39 new videos, game announcements and interviews. Some of the titles that will be appearing include Naraka Bladepoint, Dying Light 2 (in which Techland will provide an “in-depth look” into protagonist Aiden), Hello Neighbor 2 (which receives new gameplay) and more. Viewers can also expect “big news” for the Orcs Must Die! franchise, a “major” announcement and reveal for Humankind, and “a message from Valve regarding Steam.”

Of course, there will be several unannounced titles along with reveals from Shiro Games (of Northgard fame) and a new game from tinyBuild. Publishers that are confirmed include Microsoft, Bethesda, Capcom, Take Two Interactive, Gearbox Entertainment, Ubisoft and much more.
