Prepare to die. And rage. And die some more.

What’s that you say? Another list of bosses? This isn’t just any list of bosses though – we’re ranking the top 15 bosses from Dark Souls, starting from the first game till the recent Ringed City DLC for Dark Souls 3. Demon’s Souls and Bloodborne have been exempt from the rankings. This is Dark Souls only and we’ll be starting with the least tough boss and working our way up. We’re approaching these boss fights from a melee strategy point of view, above all else.

Note: The views expressed in this article are those of the author and do not necessarily represent the views of, and should not be attributed to, GamingBolt as an organization.

15. Bell Gargoyles – Dark Souls

It’s bad enough that you’re at a risk of falling and dying immediately. It’s bad enough that you have to deal with fire attacks with a wide coverage. Upon bringing the first Gargoyle down to 50 percent health, another will join the fight and it’s here you begin to question the meaning of life. Though Gold Pine Resin and saving consumables can make this battle easier, this is perhaps the first fight in Dark Souls that will force you to up your game.

From Software’s Dark Souls 3 will be receiving its second and final paid DLC later today with The Ringed City. Along with adding a new area, new enemies and items, the DLC will have a new story to play through.

To access The Ringed City, you need a save file which can access the Kiln of thee First Flame bonfire (which is right before the last boss). For those who own Ashes of Ariandel and beat Sister Friede, you have to speak to the painter residing in the attic. From there you should head to the boss arena and find a new bonfire near a statue.

Before The Ringed City’s release, From Software added two new PvP maps for the game as well with Dragon Ruins and the Grand Roof. It also made adjustments to allow players to PvP with their friends via passwords.

Will you be picking up The Ringed City? Let us know in the comments.
