It’s the middle of April and that means more free games for Xbox One users subscribed to Xbox Live Gold. Thank to Games With Gold and backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games, you get two big games to play (not including Ryse: Son of Rome which is available till April end).

For Xbox One, there’s The Walking Dead: Season Two which continues Clementine’s tumultuous journey in the post-apocalyptic, zombie-ridden world. Though not quite as highly rated as the first season, it’s still more than worth looking into, especially if you’re interested in the on-going third season, A New Frontier. Season Two will be available till May 15th.

Meanwhile, Xbox 360 users get Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. As the final game in the Ezio saga, Revelations sees an older Auditore trying to unravel the mysteries behind the Templar-Assassin war. Certain sections even head back to the past to see what Ezio’s ancestor Altaire is up to. Once again, not the highest rated in the series but still a pretty fine open world title. It’s available until April 30th.

Which game interests you most? Let us know in the comments below.

PlayStation users can look forward to a packed month in november.

PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to a fairly packed catalog in the Instant Game Collection. Sony has announced the free games out for various PlayStation platforms next month and they’re quite interesting.

From November 3rd onwards, PS4 users can get their hands on The Walking Dead: Season Two, Dragon Fin Soup and Magicka 2. Given the nature The Walking Dead (whose first season was actually available for free on Xbox One in October), expect plenty of hard choices, gruesome scenes and sad moments.

PlayStation 3 users will receive Dragon Fin Soup and two big name titles in the form of Mass Effect 2 and Beyond Good & Evil. If you haven’t played Beyond Good & Evil, then it’s worth a look for its clever story-telling. Mass Effect 2 is only one of Bioware’s best games ever so not much motivation needed there.

PS Vita users will also get their hands on Dragon Fin Soup along with Invizimals. What are your thoughts on the free games for PS Plus this month? Let us know in the comments.

After the conclusion of The Walking Dead: Season Two on the current platforms, Telltale Games has announced that both seasons of the series will be releasing on PS4 and Xbox One in October. Season One, which includes the 400 Days DLC, will be out on October 14th while Season Two is out on October 21st in North America. Europe will receive both seasons on October 24th. They will retail separately for £24.99.

The Walking Dead: Season One received rave reviews when it first released in 2012 and though it hasn’t quite garnered as much appreciation, Season Two has still been an amazing success in terms of story-telling and direction. So if you want to know what happens to Clementine in 1080p, the current generation of platforms is your ticket.

Will you be picking up both seasons on the Xbox One and PS4? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on The Walking Dead when it’s out this October.

Season 2 of Telltale's seminal adventure series coming this month.

Telltale Games blazed a trail last year with The Walking Dead, their episodic adventure game take on the hot media property of the moment, and now they are returning with it this year for a second round with Season 2.

Season 2 follows the adventures of Clementine, and is set several months after the story of the first season. The Walking Dead takes a leaf out of Mass Effect’s book, as all decisions you made in the first season and in the interquel 400 Days will carry over to Season 2 and influence how the story plays out.

Given the calibre of the first season- it got steadily more and more intense, and by the end, it emerged as one of the best gaming experiences of last year, elevating Telltale Games to superstardom almost overnight- you can expect great things from this season too.

The Walking Dead Season 2 will release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, iOS, and PlayStation Vita.

The Walking Dead: Season Two was already announced for PC via Steam, with the first episode “All That Remains” to release on December 17th. Telltale Games has since dated the first episode for the Xbox 360, with IGN stating that it will launch on December 19th – just two days after the Steam release.

“All That Remains” will continue the storyline established in Season One and 400 Days, with players now taking on the role of Clementine as she fights to stay alive in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world. Telltale is working to make this a world where you can trust no one – as if Clem still being a small child, exposed to untold horrors without Lee’s protection, wasn’t horrifying enough.

The remaining episodes, five in total, will release through 2014 with more platforms to be announced in the coming days. It’s expected to be announced for PS3, PS Vita and iOS in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more details when “All That Remains” launches next week.

Fresh off of announcing the Game of Thrones series of games and Tales from the Borderlands, Telltale Games has returned to hyping up The Walking Dead: Season Two. The first episode “All That Remains” is slated to release on December 17th for PC and Mac via Steam, and now the developer has released a new teaser for the game through Vine. Be warned though: For Season One veterans, nothing but feels are to be found here.

The man in the picture is Lee Everett, the protagonist of the first season and Clementine’s protector all-throughout. We won’t spoil his outcome (though it’s kind of obvious), but suffice to say, he didn’t leave Clem of his own volition.

The Walking Dead: Season Two will run for five episodes and also arrive on PS3, Xbox 360 and mobile platforms such as iOS in the coming days. Season Two will be concluding in 2014, with individual release dates to be announced later. Stay tuned for more details.
