CD Projekt Red, creators of the already legendary high fantasy role playing series “The Witcher”, have today proudly announced the release of their newest title, The Witcher Adventure Game. The Witcher Adventure Game lets players take in the experience of playing The Witcher in the style of a highly detailed and beautifully realised board game.

Rafał Jaki, Executive Producer on The Wither Adventure Game has said, “We are very excited to bring Adventure Game to Witcher and board game fans alike. We have worked with Ignacy Trzewiczek, Fantasy Flight and Can Explode for a long time to make this an ideal entry for board game beginners, as well as a fun experience for people who know this genre and universe by heart. The game will allow the player the chance to assume the role of one of four characters from The Witchers world on adventurous quests of monster slaying and looting. If you act quick, you can get the game at 10% off on Steam.

What in the world is The Witcher Adventure Game, you ask? It is a tie in to The Witcher Board game, set in the same universe as The Witcher video games, and following the adventures of Geralt of Rivia. And CD Projekt RED have now announced the launch of the closed beta for this game, so if you get invited, you can learn more about it.

The closed beta is first being made available to players who pre-ordered The Witcher 3 on GOG.com, and it will also be used as a testing pad for the upcoming GOG Galaxy client.
