<p>Respawn Entertainment&#8217;s <em>Titanfall 2</em> was an improvement over the previous game in numerous ways, from its stellar single-player campaign to the solid multiplayer. However, even though Respawn head Vince Zampella told <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/titanfall-2-should-have-sold-better-dev-says/1100-6452273/">GameSpot</a> that the game was &#8220;successful&#8221; and &#8220;sold well&#8221;, he also notes that the overall sales performance could have been better.</p>
<p>&#8220;The game was successful, it sold well, but it didn&#8217;t quite sell as well as it should have. Maybe because it was super-crowded, the pricing was aggressive &#8211; it was a rough window to launch our game,&#8221; said Zampella. Considering <em>Battlefield 1</em> launched the week prior and <em>Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare</em> was out in the successive weeks, it was obvious to everyone that <em>Titanfall 2&#8217;s</em> sales could suffer.</p>
<p>However, the community is doing fairly well despite its size which Zampella noting less &#8220;negativity or acidity compared to other communities.&#8221; Of course, even though <em>Titanfall 2</em> wasn&#8217;t the smash hit that many were expecting doesn&#8217;t meant the series will be coming to a close. Zampella said that, &#8220;It&#8217;s important for us to keep the franchise going. </p>
<p>&#8220;&#8216;We&#8217;re doing more <em>Titanfall</em>,'&#8221; which is the quote I&#8217;m supposed to say. We have our franchise creative director, who&#8217;s in charge of safeguarding the franchise in multiple formats and making sure it continues to grow. There&#8217;s some other things we&#8217;re doing that haven&#8217;t been announced just yet, but we&#8217;re heavily invested in the Titanfall universe.&#8221; Which includes <em>Titanfall: Assault</em> coming to mobiles on August 10th.</p>
<p>However, he also added that, &#8220;We&#8217;re working on more <em>Titanfall</em> &#8211; we&#8217;re not announcing what that is yet, but there&#8217;s a few other things in the works&#8211;the mobile game, which turned out fantastic and is super fun, the fans love it and allowed us to expand on what we did in the last games. So I&#8217;m pretty happy with what the franchise has become.&#8221;</p>
<p>Currently, <a href="https://www.origin.com/ind/en-us/store/titanfall/titanfall-2/ultimate-edition"><em>Titanfall 2: Ultimate Edition</em></a> is available and includes the base game with all sorts of extras and goodies.</p>
