Capcom announced that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be making its way to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in 2015. The announcement was accompanied by a teaser trailer which apparently had a few secrets.

As uncovered by a Neogaf user, the teaser trailer had references to Rachel Foley, Terra Save organization from Resident Evil Degeneration, Queen Zenobis ship from Resident Evil Revelations, release date of the 3Ds version of the original game and a couple of other references. You can find these references in the image below. We will update this list as we find more secrets in the teaser.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 will not feature the deadly duo of Chris and Jill Valentine. It’s unknown what characters will make appearance but Capcom have promised highly detailed visuals and a new story setting. There will be new information revealed next week and the game will be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Games show.

Burn your dread once again.

Atlus’s Persona 5 made an appearance at Sony’s pre-TGS presser and it was announced that the JRPG would be arriving in 2015 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. A short animated teaser for the same was provided though it did nothing to reveal story or character details. Check it out above.

And in case you’re wondering, the names provided in the beginning relate to respective dev team members like composer Shoji Meguro who worked on the soundtracks for Persona 3 and Persona 4. So yes, you can credit him for getting “Burn My Dread” stuck in your head.

Persona has always been a PlayStation-exclusive franchise with the first few games appearing on the PS One. Eventually, Persona re-emerged as a franchise with Persona 3 on the PS2, which was quickly followed by Persona 4. While Persona 4 also released on the PS3, Persona 5 was to be the first real game in the series to be built specifically for the console. The 2015 release date currently relates to Japan though so stay tuned for more information on a Western release.

"Evil is watching" or something.

After a leak several weeks ago, Capcom have now confirmed that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is indeed in development and that it will release in 2015. This was revealed during Sony’s pre-TGS conference and came with a live action video.

There isn’t much by way of details except that the game will do something with three screens and feature a brand new story and cast. Does that mean characters that have never been seen before in the Resident Evil series? Regardless, it will be out in 2015 though Capcom has yet to confirm for which platforms. PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC are a safe bet though.

The first Resident Evil: Revelations released last year for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U though it originally came out on the 3DS. Critical and commercial reception for the 3DS version prompted an HD version for home consoles and it overshadowed the terrible Resident Evil 7. Will Resident Evil: Revelations 2 match up to that? We’ll find out in the coming days.

Limited edition also confirmed.

From Software’s Bloodborne was showcased today during Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show presentation and while the gameplay video showcased still isn’t available for worldwide broadcast, the studio did confirm that it would be releasing in Japan on PS4 in February 5th 2015.

That’s a very interesting release date especially since Sony has given no indication whatsoever as to when the game would be released since debuting it at E3 2014. While many believe that this February release could spark a release in the West around the same time, why didn’t Sony just hint at a Western release at last month’s Gamescom? It feels odd, especially given the lack of big-name games during Sony’s Gamescom presser.

Regardless, From Software hasn’t been releasing its past few Dark Souls games that much earlier in Japan compared to North America and Europe so it’s likely that the February 2015 release could be legit. The developer also announced a limited edition and more details are pending so stay tuned.

Roughly 220,000 visitors and 1600 booths expected this year.

Japan’s premier games show returns this year in September, with the Japanese Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association announcing the dates for the Tokyo Game Show. It will be held at Makuhari Messe, Chiba like last year and will take place from September 18th to 21st. The 18th and 19th will be business days but the 20th and 21st will see the convention open to the public.

As of now, it’s expected that there will be 1600 booths and 220,000 visitors with areas dedicated to indie games, PC games, smartphones, merchandise and much more.

The Tokyo Game Show is primer destination for all things related to Japanese gaming. Last year saw the announcement of the PS4’s Japanese release date close to the convention while Kojima Productions showed off Metal Gear Solid 5 for various consoles.

What will we see this year? Hopefully some information on Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts III along with other big titles planned for Japan. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months as publishers reveal their line-ups.
