It makes sense- the primary method of interaction in the medium still remains, on various forms, us destroying something or someone in some form or the other. Blowing things up or watching things just crumble is half the fun- a game like Grand Theft Auto, Battlefield, or even The Legend of Zelda would not be half as fun as it is were it not for the unexpected things in the environment that are subject to your destructive whims. In this feature, we look at some of the very best games that let us wreak havoc.</p>

<p>Far Cry 2 had some great potential to be a great game. However fainting from the malaria every 45 minutes was a damn headache. But that aside, it was quite fun to just burn things and destroy everything you come across. Far Cry 2 really set the bar high in terms of destructibility to the environments, and while Far Cry 3 and 4 upped the ante, what Far Cry 2 managed in its time, given the technology and expectations, is nothing short of astounding.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="LEFT"><span style="float: left; color: #b00000; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 60px; line-height: 35px; padding-right: 6px;">H</span>umans are creatures of habit. Nothing sells this idea to me more than the fact that this will be my third E3 related top ten for Gamingbolt. So here we go. Far from talking about the end of a console generation as in previous years, we&#8217;re now looking forward to what the future holds.</p>
<p align="LEFT">As a result, you&#8217;ll notice that plenty of the following games are next gen titles. That said, the old Xbox 360/PS3 duel may still have a bit of life left in it. Though E3 may not have the same level of influence it has had in years gone by, it&#8217;s still the industry event of the year, and these are the 20 games that will keep it that way.</p>
<p align="LEFT">What are your thoughts? Which games are you looking forward to? Let us know in the comments section below,</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;" align="LEFT">Games get more daring and intelligent each year, and I don&#8217;t just mean in terms of AI and technical innovations. Having written a series of features already on what to expect from 2012, I approached this particular feature with a sense of dread, expecting nothing more than coining a list of highly similar games where graphics become more of a contest than a method of expression. 2012 is lifting my spirits though, as my research has reminded me of the wealth of intriguing and visually original titles that await us in new year. Here&#8217;s 20 of them for your perusal.</p>
<p align="LEFT"><strong>Starhawk</strong></p>
<p align="LEFT"><script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/js/swfobject.js"></script>
<script language="javascript">
function getVideo() {
	var so = new SWFObject("http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/xplayer/yo033.swf?pid=bolt005&siteId=475&videoId=410571&file=http://cms.springboard.gorillanation.com/xml_feeds_advanced/index/475/3/410571/&autostart=false&pageUrl="+escape(document.location), "mplayer", "655", "385", "8", "#000000");
	so.addParam("wmode","transparent");
	so.addParam("swliveconnect", "true");
	so.addParam("allowscriptaccess", "always");
	so.addParam("allowfullscreen", "true");
	so.addVariable("autostart", "false");
	so.write("flashcontent_475_bolt005_video_410571");
}
</script>
<div id="flashcontent_475_bolt005_video_410571"></div>
<script language="javascript">getVideo();</script></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;" align="LEFT">The original Warhawk was fun but as a purely multiplayer experience, it lacked the polish and sheen that other contemporary titles were receiving. Starhawk looks set to be a different case however, with a full single player component, buttery smooth visuals and, of course, the same awesome multiplayer that Warhawk was renowned for.</p>
<p align="LEFT"><strong>Touch My Katamari</strong></p>
<p align="LEFT"><script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/js/swfobject.js"></script>
<script language="javascript">
function getVideo() {
	var so = new SWFObject("http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/xplayer/yo033.swf?pid=bolt005&siteId=475&videoId=410977&file=http://cms.springboard.gorillanation.com/xml_feeds_advanced/index/475/3/410977/&autostart=false&pageUrl="+escape(document.location), "mplayer", "655", "385", "8", "#000000");
	so.addParam("wmode","transparent");
	so.addParam("swliveconnect", "true");
	so.addParam("allowscriptaccess", "always");
	so.addParam("allowfullscreen", "true");
	so.addVariable("autostart", "false");
	so.write("flashcontent_475_bolt005_video_410977");
}
</script>
<div id="flashcontent_475_bolt005_video_410977"></div>
<script language="javascript">getVideo();</script></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;" align="LEFT">The wacky and disproportionate worlds of Katamari have been absent from our lives for too long, (in the west at least) prompting glee at the recent news that Touch My Katamari will be a PS Vita launch title in the US and Europe. There are going to be some flashier games on release day that may better use the system&#8217;s capabilities but, if you fancy a bit of colour and life in your games, then Katamari can do no wrong.</p>
<p align="LEFT"><strong>Mass Effect 3</strong></p>
<p align="LEFT"><script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/js/swfobject.js"></script>
<script language="javascript">
function getVideo() {
	var so = new SWFObject("http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/xplayer/yo033.swf?pid=bolt005&siteId=475&videoId=405397&file=http://cms.springboard.gorillanation.com/xml_feeds_advanced/index/475/3/405397/&autostart=false&pageUrl="+escape(document.location), "mplayer", "655", "385", "8", "#000000");
	so.addParam("wmode","transparent");
	so.addParam("swliveconnect", "true");
	so.addParam("allowscriptaccess", "always");
	so.addParam("allowfullscreen", "true");
	so.addVariable("autostart", "false");
	so.write("flashcontent_475_bolt005_video_405397");
}
</script>
<div id="flashcontent_475_bolt005_video_405397"></div>
<script language="javascript">getVideo();</script></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;" align="LEFT">Not a lot of people rant and rave about the awesome graphics of the Mass Effect series, most likely because they&#8217;re too busy getting sucked into the game&#8217;s gripping story. Though people are mainly looking forward to Mass Effect 3 so they can put the epic trilogy to rest, don&#8217;t think that it won&#8217;t look the part as well. Expect the world of Mass Effect to be brought to life just as well as last time.</p>
<p align="LEFT"><strong>Borderlands 2</strong></p>
<p align="LEFT"><script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/js/swfobject.js"></script>
<script language="javascript">
function getVideo() {
	var so = new SWFObject("http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/xplayer/yo033.swf?pid=bolt005&siteId=475&videoId=410989&file=http://cms.springboard.gorillanation.com/xml_feeds_advanced/index/475/3/410989/&autostart=false&pageUrl="+escape(document.location), "mplayer", "655", "385", "8", "#000000");
	so.addParam("wmode","transparent");
	so.addParam("swliveconnect", "true");
	so.addParam("allowscriptaccess", "always");
	so.addParam("allowfullscreen", "true");
	so.addVariable("autostart", "false");
	so.write("flashcontent_475_bolt005_video_410989");
}
</script>
<div id="flashcontent_475_bolt005_video_410989"></div>
<script language="javascript">getVideo();</script></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;" align="LEFT">Borderlands surprised a lot of people when it hit stores back in 2009. It seemingly came out of nowhere and grabbed gamers with its addictive gameplay and quirky cel-shaded visuals. With Boarderlands 2 ready to ravish our time once more next year, expect the graphics to get even more impressive and creative. And there&#8217;ll be a lot more loot along the way of course.</p>
<p align="LEFT"><strong>Final Fantasy XIII-2</strong></p>
<p align="LEFT"><script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/js/swfobject.js"></script>
<script language="javascript">
function getVideo() {
	var so = new SWFObject("http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/xplayer/yo033.swf?pid=bolt005&siteId=475&videoId=405405&file=http://cms.springboard.gorillanation.com/xml_feeds_advanced/index/475/3/405405/&autostart=false&pageUrl="+escape(document.location), "mplayer", "655", "385", "8", "#000000");
	so.addParam("wmode","transparent");
	so.addParam("swliveconnect", "true");
	so.addParam("allowscriptaccess", "always");
	so.addParam("allowfullscreen", "true");
	so.addVariable("autostart", "false");
	so.write("flashcontent_475_bolt005_video_405405");
}
</script>
<div id="flashcontent_475_bolt005_video_405405"></div>
<script language="javascript">getVideo();</script></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;" align="LEFT">Final Fantasy XIII was linear, and a decided step down from previous iterations of the Final Fantasy series, but lord did it look good. If XIII-2 can correct the flaws of its predecessor, then it will hopefully make the graphics stand out even more as part of a well rounded package. If the graphics can get even better as well, then I can&#8217;t even begin to imagine the visual feast we&#8217;ll have waiting for us in 2012.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sony is on a roll with one exclusive announcement after another. 2011 is undoubtedly looking pretty strong for the PlayStation 3 exclusives and today we have gathered a comprehensive list of 20 “confirmed” games and exclusive “only” to the PlayStation 3. The list also includes PlayStation Network games.</p>
<p><strong><em><span style="color: #ff6600;">Editors Note: We have considered console exclusives. Also the listing is random and is not ranked.</span></em></strong></p>
<h3>20. Sorcery</h3>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" title="sorcery" src="https://gamingbolt.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/sorcery.jpg" alt="" width="505" height="297" /></p>
<p>With over 12 upgradeable spells, hundreds of unique potions and countless items to discover and collect, Sorcery immerses players in a unique fantasy story, like never before. Along their journey, players will encounter a multitude enemies, solve ingenious puzzles, mix and create unique potions, learn and craft new spells and heal a broken world shrouded in Darkness.</p>
<h3>19. Resistance 3</h3>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter" title="resistance 3" src="https://gamingbolt.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/resistance3.jpg" alt="" width="505" height="297" /></p>
<p>Set in a brutal, alternate 1950s universe, America has been successfully conquered and destroyed by the deadly Chimeran race, forcing the last remaining human survivors to seek refuge in hiding. Players must take on the role of Joseph Capelli, the last surviving Sentinel from a clandestine military program, as he comes out of hiding to journey across a land of ruin in a heroic fight for survival against the merciless Chimera. In addition to an epic single-player campaign, <em>Resistance</em> 3 will offer two-player online or split-screen co-op through the single-player campaign, and a new, focused progression-based multiplayer experience.</p>
<h3>18. Killzone 3</h3>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter" title="Killzone 3" src="https://gamingbolt.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/killzone3-jetpack.jpg" alt="" width="505" height="297" /></p>
<p>The story begins where Killzone 2 left off, with Visari, the vicious Helghast dictator, lying dead at the feet of Special Forces soldiers Sev and Rico. The battle may have been won but the war is far from over. Visari’s death has left behind a world of political scheming, infighting and outright murder. Meanwhile his parting gift, a nuclear bomb detonated in Phyruss, the Helghan Capital, has decimated the ISA invasion force. With no re-enforcements and supplies quickly running out, you must now fight against ruthless Helghast war machine alone.</p>
<h3>17. The Last Guardian</h3>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter" title="The last guardian" src="https://gamingbolt.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/thelastguardian.jpg" alt="" width="505" height="297" /></p>
<p>The next game from Team ICO looks to deliver the same sweet, smooth and absorbing game play and environment as they did with their previous two games. The game is slated for Holiday 2011, so there is still about a year left for the game. We have very little information about the game but judging by the trailers it looks like it will be a great mix of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.</p>
