Total War: Shogun 2 Gold Edition Now Available in EU and Australia

Good news feudal war-mongers – Creative Assembly’s packaging of Total War: Shogun 2 along with its assorted DLC is now available in Europe and Australia as Total War: Shogun 2 Gold Edition. Released on March 8th, the pack promises tons of history significance, information on Samurai culture and lots of banzais. Banzais everywhere.

Along with the original Shogun 2, the Gold Edition includes the expansion packs Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai. Keep in mind that the main game along with the expansions have all been nominated for BAFTA awards. So yes, they are quite good.

For the release in Europe and Australia, you’ll have all three titles plus all downloadable content that has been released for the game thus far, barring the Blood Pack. This will be featured in limited edition Wajima-nuri style packaging, which won’t be reprinted in the future. So get your hands on the limited edition goodness while you still can.

The way of the Samurai is one of hardship and toil, but boy does it make for some bloody fun conflicts. Take Creative Assembly’s Total War: Shogun 2, one of their most critically and commercially acclaimed titles of all time that deftly captured 16th century Feudal Japan warfare in all its grisly detail.

Now gamers can experience the conflict and its two expansions with Total War: Shogun 2 – Gold Edition being announced by publisher Sega.

Containing the original game along with the Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai expansions packs, the Gold Edition will be available in North America from March 5th.

Europe and Australia get a slightly different deal, with all three titles plus previously released DLC (except for the Blood Pack) in a limited edition package that will be available from March 8th.
