										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>CI Games of <em>Lords of the Fallen</em> fame has announced that it will laying off around 30 employees as a part of its restructuring process, as reported by <a href="https://www.gamesindustry.biz/around-30-people-laid-off-in-ci-games-final-round-of-job-cuts" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gamesindustry.biz</a>. This news comes shortly after CI Games laid off 10% of its workforce <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/lords-of-the-fallen-publisher-ci-games-is-cutting-10-of-its-staff">in January</a>, and the developer states that this will be the final round of layoffs.</p>
<p>According to the developer, this initiative will ensure maximum efficiency across its teams comprising multiple studios. CI Games also stated that work on its<em> Project 3</em> &#8211; an action RPG that was being handled by the Hexworks team remains unaffected by this round of layoffs. Its other development group Underdog Studio will continue to work on &#8216;<em>Project Survive&#8217;</em> which is set to enter full production pretty soon.</p>
<p>&#8220;All affected employees have been informed about this proposal today, and will be fully supported throughout the process over the coming weeks,&#8221; a spokesperson said to Gamesindustry.biz.</p>
<p>As for the developer&#8217;s financials, CI Games has reported a record revenue of $60 million, which can be attributed to the commercial success of <em>Lords of the Fallen</em>.
