Black Ops 2: Uprising DLC Information Leaked

Electronic retailers such as Best Buy and some others have now confirmed listings of the upcoming rumored the Uprising Downloadable Content for Call of Duty: Black Ops II A leaked image of a promotional card shows 4 new maps and a release date of April 16th 2013.

The 4 new maps are Vertigo, Studio, Encore and Magma. However, the center of the card teases a new zombie map called Mob of the Dead. The images easily described the locations of Vertigo and Studo maps. Vertigo is located on a high rise, while Studio is located in a movie studio. Meanwhile, it’s hard to tell where Magma and Encore exactly take place. The background image of Mob of the Dead map suggests that it’s taking place in the Alcatraz, the former United States penitentiary. One of the community live members @LiamFTWinter managed to get an exact description of Uprising DLC from the Xbox Live Marketplace upload registry.

The description says the following: “Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Uprising includes four incredibly diverse Multiplayer Maps: Magma, Encore, Vertigo, and Studio: a reimagined adaptation of the fan-favorite Black Ops multiplayer map Firing Range. Uprising also introduces Mob of the Dead, Treyarch’s most terrifying Zombies experience to date.

Top Hollywood talent rounds out a cast of four Prohibition-era gangsters that are forced to fend off hordes of the undead while imprisoned on San Francisco’s notorious Alcatraz Island. While guard towers and new weapons offer tactical advantages, survival offers an unprecedented new challenge for these four lost souls.” Keep your eyes peeled for Call of Duty Black Ops II: Uprising on April 16th 2013.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 “Uprising” DLC Leaked Via Promotional Poster

It seems that the next DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is already underway. Whether or not this is real is up for debate, but a leaked promotional poster indicates that the new DLC, called Uprising, will be doing…something on April 18th. The line below the release date faintly says “First on Xbox 360”. Fair enough.

Among the new content are four new multiplayer maps, namely Vertigo, Encore, Magma and Studio along with a new Zombies map titled Mob of the Dead. At least from the poster itself, it looks like Vertigo and Magma are snow and volcano levels respectively.

The last DLC to release for Black Ops 2, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, was Revolution. And given how it just recently released for PS3, it’d be interesting to see how long Uprising takes to release if it is indeed first on Xbox 360.

Then again, this could be a hoax. We’ll find out in the days to come.

3DS Kid Icarus gameplay video is amazing

Nintendo has released a rather long gameplay video of their upcoming game, Kid Icarus for the 3DS and it looks stunning.

We can’t wait to get our hands on the game.

3DS releases on Feb 24 in Japan and in March internatonally.

Kid Icarus will be releasing sometime this year.

A Look at Donkey Kong Country Returns

President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime gave us a good look at the forthcoming Donkey Kong Wii exclusive title, Donkey Kong Countrey Returns.

The game looks really good, and it feels good to see the old Donkey Kong Country games making a return in 3D, this time with co-op. Yeah baby, Diddky Kong and Donkey Kong can both eat bananas this time around, together. How cool is that? Super cool, I would say.

The game has us flail our hands like a fish on dry land several times- I fear motion controls might take a away a good deal of the core formula of the Donkey Kong Country series, but it’s Retro Studios who’re developing the game, and they have a great track record.

Reggie also gives Jimmy Fallon a chance to have a look at Kid Icarus on the 3DS, the latter going crazy upon seeing the 3D visuals, screaming ‘You’ve done it! You’ve done it!’ like a madman in Arkham. We suggest you take a look at the video yourselves.
