Metal Gear Acid 2

While the mainline Metal Gear Solid series has a lot of entries to its name, the Metal Gear property is also home to a couple of spin-off series – including but not limited to Metal Gear Acid. It’s possible that some fans may have tried out this hidden gem, but it’s very unlikely that you knew about its sequel, Metal Gear Acid 2 which was released in 2005. This follow-up to the card-based RPG is everything that fans would desire from a sequel, improving on the elements found in the original while introducing a few new ideas of its own.

SEGA’s cult classic strategy RPG series, Valkyria Chronicles seems to be getting ready to reveal a new entry, with a new teaser site popping up recently that promises something to do with the series to be revealed on November 20 at 12:00 PM.

There isn’t much to see on the site at the moment, just some blurry concept art with the title “Valkryia Project”, promised to come soon and a big “11.20” teasing a reveal for later in the month.

While it’s only speculation, It should be noted that the sleuths over at Resetera believe that the inclusion of ESRB and PEGI symbols as well as a localized website suggest that it’s very unlikely that the teased title will be a mobile game, and we can expect it for worldwide release. The previous title in the series, Valkryia Revolution was well received, but also technically a spin off, leaving the series ripe for a new main instalment.

The extra edition for Valkyria Chronicles will include three new missions and four new DLC pack. Please check out the trailer and tell us what you feel in the comments section below.

Though there is no in game scenes, the trailer showcases some of the story and perhaps cut scenes, but unless you know Japanese, you wont understand a thing.

Treyarch have made a decision regarding campaign co-op in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops, and it’s not one that’s going to please fans.

There will be no campaign co-op in Black Ops.

“There’s no campaign co-op this year,” confirmed executive producer Dan Suarez to Gamertag Radio.

However, there will be local co-op in the form of multiplayer and single player combat training.

However, Treyarch community boss Josh Olin says that not all has been revelaed yet on the co-operative front.

Call of Duty: Black Ops releases on November 10 on PS3, 360, Wii, PC and DS.

SEGA have gone and done a boo-boo; releasing a timetable that shows Valkyria Chronicles 3 on their ‘coming soon’ list for TGS.

The table, shown in GIF format lists various games for ‘coming soon’.

However, by chaning the format to JPEG we can see just what those announcements are- and one of them is VC 3.

Despite practically unveiling it before it has even been announced, SEGA refuse to confirm anything. The table also fails to show the prospective platforms.

The game is due for a grand unveiling on September 16.
