Because it introduced animated characters and backgrounds, with gameplay playing out like a cartoon. <p>Say what you will about gameplay and fun factor determining a game&#x2019;s worth, but where would it be without graphics? Graphics to draw a player in, graphics to create a realistic environment, graphics to properly interpret the story at hand &#x2013; even functional graphics so we can just enjoy the damn game.<br />
