A complete guide for Tekken 7.

Tekken 7 is finally out, after such a long time- the long awaited next major entry in the 3D fighting series is here at last. Tekken is the highest selling series of fighting games of all time, and the next entry has been years in the making. Undoubtedly, its legion of fans worldwide will be excited to pick this game up and start duking it out with each other.

When you pick it up, you’ll find quite a lot waiting for you, in terms of the breadth of content, and the depth of the mechanics. It can honestly be quite a bit to keep up with- which is why we’re here. In this guide, you will find some basic tips and tricks, a guide to the online mode, moves and combos, the Rage Arts, unlockables, and of course, Achievements and Trophies.

You ready? Let’s get the party started.

BASIC TIPS AND TRICKS

Tekken 7 is a fighting game, and while those can be instinctively easy for a newcomer to pick up on, the staggering amount of depth and finesse needed to make much headway into them can be pretty frustrating. If you’re new to fighting games, new to Tekken, or just haven’t played either in a while, these basic tips and tricks should help you find your footing.

Utilize Practice Mode. You’ll learn loads of moves and combos in Tekken 7, and they can be finnicky enough that unless you’re very precise, you may have trouble pulling them off. So be precise- go to Practice Mode, and practice your moves and combos.

Practice juggling and launching. Launching, well, launches your opponents in the air, and juggling keeps them there- both are vulnerable states for your opponent, and therefore something you want to be able to execute. They require specific combos, so be sure to practice these, too.

Rage and Rage Art: A devastating multi hit combo you can use in a pinch, learn your Rage Art, be good with it, and whenever you feel threatened, use it as long as it is available.

Movement: Tekken is a 3D fighter, meaning movement is actually far more important in this game than in most other fighters, including those that look 3D but basically still play on a 2D plane (such as Injustice 2). Learn each stage- be ready to navigate out of harm’s way, and use your full range of movement to feint the opponent.

COMBOS

Tekken 7 is a fighting game, which means at some point or the other, you’re going to need to be comfortable with the idea of executing combos. As always, you need to utilize Practice mode here- you can pull up the menu and a list of combos at any time for your character there. Get familiar with one character before you start switching around. Practice your combos. Start using them against low level AI, and then move up from there.

Below, we have some videos to get you comfortable with the idea of using combos.

A complete guide for DiRT 4.

DiRT 4 is out, and it may be the best game in Codemasters’ rallying series yet. As always, players can expect top class racing mechanics, loads of content, and a lot of great modes to mess around in. Series fans will find themselves comfortable with the game right away- it will actually probably be newcomers who feel a bit overwhelmed by the game.

If you count yourself among that number, never fear! We’re here to help you out. In this guide, we cover customization, custom courses, basic tips and tricks, and some Achievements/Trophies. Let’s get started right away, then.

BASIC TIPS AND TRICKS

Pay attention to your co-driver. DiRT 4 has some well designed courses, and you need to be looking for cues and turns, sure, but your co-driver will be calling out turns and obstacles in your path. Listen to him, he can give you some fair warning for stuff coming up ahead.

Don’t play nice. Motorsports aren’t about playing fair. If you see an opponent, nudge them off the track. Bump into them. Disrupt them and their momentum. Do anything you can to rattle them. Especially since they’ll be doing the same to you.

Learn the track. Knowing the track, knowing shortcuts, and knowing the best route to take can be extremely helpful, especially when it comes to…

The Joker Lap. This is one lap you must take in each rally, which is an alternate route designed to test your technique and increase your lap time. You get to decide when you want to take it, but you must take it. If leveraged right, you can use this to devastating advantage- if the regular route is crowded, for example, you can make a detour for the Joker Lap. Once on there, as long as you memorized the route, you should be able to make some good time.

Play Rallycross first. As mentioned before, there are a lot of modes in DiRT, but the first one you want to try, the standard, basic one, is Rallycross. Play it, find your footing, and then venture out.

CUSTOM STAGE CREATOR

DiRT 4 lets you make custom stages- which is every bit as awesome as it sounds. The tools you have at your disposal for creation and editing are very powerful, too. The video below walks you through the custom stage creator.

CUSTOMIZATION

Of course, tracks aren’t the only things you can mess around with in DiRT 4– you can also customize your own vehicles in a thorough, and shockingly in depth, customization feature. This video below walks you through it.

NieR Automata‘s Trophies are actually not as hard to get as you might expect- there are definitely some tricky ones thrown into the mix, and depending on your skill level, you may find quite a lot of them simply far too difficult. But on the whole, the average player shouldn’t mind how they are balanced much at all.

In this guide, you will find a list of every single Trophy (and its corresponding Steam achievement), alongside its description that you get upon unlocking it. We will also have videos showing you how and where you can unlock these Trophies.

With The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo has given up all pretense, and out and out made Zelda an RPG. With that comes the necessity to keep track of your weapons and gears- unlike older games in the series, where you only had a couple of swords and tunics, and each subsequent one was better than the previous one, there is a dizzying array of weapons and armor available here, and it is to your advantage to try and familiarize yourself with as much of it as possible.

BEST WEAPONS:

Unlike previous Zelda games, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets you change your weapons. There are multiple benefits to doing so- your weapons and shields break over time (and there’s no way to fix them), which means you want to be familiar with as many different kinds as possible. Plus, each weapon controls differently, and has different attacks available to it- so, again, you want to try out as many different ones as possible to ensure that you find something more to your playing style. Plus different kinds of weapons, such as ranged or close range ones, can have different uses.

Most Powerful Clubs

Tree Branch: 2 damage

Boko Club: 4 damage

Spiked Moblin Club: 27 damage

Most Powerful Spears

Throwing Spear: 6 damage

Soldier’s Spear: 7 damage

Enhanced Lizal Spear: 12 damage

Most Powerful Swords

Knight’s Broadsword: 26 damage

Guardian Sword: 40 damage

Royal Guard’s Sword: 48 damage

Edge of Duality: 50 damage

Royal Claymore: 52 damage

Royal Guard’s Claymore: 72 damage

Most Powerful Boomerangs

Royal Guard’s Bow: 50 damage

Bow of Light: 100 damage

BEST ARMOR:

Then there is your gear- gear doesn’t degrade, but it has different effects. Some gear will let you survive the cold or the heat better, some makes you stealthier, some lets you swim up waterfalls, and so on. Once again, having as much gear as possible is to your advantage- it ensures you are equipped to deal with any situation.

Leg Gear

Dark Trousers: 3 defense

Trousers of Twilight: 3 defense

Desert Voe Spaulder: 3 defense with heat resistance

Soldier’s Armor: 4 defense

Tunic of the Wild: 4 defense

Ancient Cuirass: 4 defense with guardian resistance

Champion’s Tunic: 5 defense

RUNES:

There are no items granting you special abilities to unlock further combat mechanics or parts of the world in Breath of the Wild– instead, right at the beginning of the game, you get four spells, known as Runes. These four Runes are all you need (and get) to be able to navigate any problem the game throws at yo- so it’s in your interest to be as up to date on these as possible:

Cryonis: Cryonis freezes water, and makes pillars of ice. You can use Cryonis to make vertical pillars, horizontal ones, and even ones right underfoot. Up to three pillars can be made at a time. You can shatter any pillar you made by aiming your reticle at it and selecting it. You can also use this ability to destroy any pieces of ice flung your way. You can use Cryonis to get to previously inaccessible places, raise obstacles, raise yourself over obstacles, and to raise hidden treasure, among other things.

Magnesis: Arguably the coolest ability in the game, Magnesis does what the name suggests, and lets you manipulate heavy and/or distant objects magnetically. There is no weight limit to what object you can use Magnesis on- this is likely to be your most used Rune, so make sure you are fully familiar with it.

Stasis: Stasis has a super cool concept- it freezes an object in time for a few seconds, which is great for maybe stopping a door from closing, or a depressed button from raising back up as soon as you get off it, but there’s more- while an object is frozen in time, you can hit at it. When you do, you give it kinetic energy that it stores. The more you hit it, the more kinetic energy it gets. When it gets unfrozen in time, that kinetic energy is unleashed all at once, moving it with an astonishing force. This is a super useful ability to be able to move heavy objects that you otherwise wouldn’t be able to.

Bombs: They’re bombs. You know what they do. The one change now is that you have a square variant (so they don’t roll down hills) that you can use, and that they don’t explode themselves- you can remotely detonate them.

Brute force your way through the game.

NieR Automata is now out- Platinum Games’ sequel to the cult hit is a finely tuned action RPG with each mechanic balanced to sing in harmony with all the others. So of course, what you really want to do when you play this game is to wreck all that balance up to be able to tip the scales and odds in your favor and be able to brute force your way through the game.

We don’t approve of this- but hey, we’re not judging. If that’s how you want to go about this, we’re here to help you. This guide helps gain more XP, consequently level up faster, and it also lets you get more money- three resources that are all very important in NieR Automata.

Unlimited XP:

Like with any RPG, XP is the primary currency via which your progress as a character is determined in NieR Automata. If you want to gain higher levels and be able to take on stronger enemies, you probably want more XP. The video below shows you the fastest way to reach the level cap.

Unlimited Money And Farming:

NieR makes it relatively harder to get money, which can be a bit of an issue when it comes to you getting the gear and items that you want. While the game is of course balanced around this economy, there is a way to be able to cheese and farm for money, as well as valuable items. The videos below walk you through this process.

A positive arsenal of weapons.

The best thing of any Platinum game is the combat system. The worst thing about the original NieR was just how bad its combat was. So by getting Platinum to develop the sequel, Square Enix have unexpectedly made one of the most brilliant decisions they could have regarding this game.

Playing NieR Automata, you will realize that just like all other Platinum Games, there is a highly nuanced, deep, and balanced combat system at play here. There are so many weapons, with their own unique properties (which makes a lot of sense when you consider that while this may be a Platinum Game, it is also additionally an RPG- best of both worlds!), and you actually probably want to try as many of them as you can.

But how do you track down and find all of them? Well, that’s where we come in with this guide. The videos below will help you find all the weapons that there are to find in this game. Furthermore we have also included a video that will show you the location of the secret blacksmith in the forest. Finding him will allow you to upgrade your weapons to level 4.

Platinum Games have highly fine tuned combat systems- and these combat systems get their chance to shine during boss battles, which are a speciality of the studio.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now out- and it is a sumptuous game, unlike truly anything that we have ever seen before. It is also a hard game- harder than any Zelda game in recent memory, harder than most AAA games, in fact. Taking a leaf out of Dark Souls and survival games, Breath of the Wild presents you with multiple scenarios where you can die.

One of these scenarios is in combat- when even regular enemies can take you out, bosses and the dreaded Guardians (the signature enemies of this game) can be outright terrifying, especially if you are not prepared for them. Thankfully, we’re here to help.

How To Defeat All The Bosses:

Zelda has always had some great bosses, but the bosses in Breath of the Wild may take the cake. They are unexpected, terrifying, unpredictable, and hard to take down. You will find them in dungeons, sure, but you will also find many of them in the overworld, simply as you are trying to make your way to some other place that you saw in the distance- and often at the worst possible time.

The video below tells you how to take on every boss in the game:

Complete list of all bosses:

Below is a complete list of all the bosses in the game.

Divine Beast Vah Ruta

Waterblight Ganon

Fireblight Ganon

Master Kohga

Divine Beast Vah Naboris

Thunderblight Ganon

Divine Beast Vah Medoh

Windblight Ganon

Calamity Ganon

Dark Beast Ganon

How To Defeat Guardians:

Guardians are the signature enemies of Breath of the Wild, and they are terrifying, dealing you one hit kill attacks most of the time. They come in several variations and forms, and most of the times, you need to be smart and cunning to take them out. Here are some tips to deal with them:

Don’t. Really, just… try and avoid Guardians if you can. Even the immobile ones, which you will run into earlier in the game, can wreak havoc on you. If you can avoid engaging them, maybe by stealthily passing around them, opt for that approach

Low level weapons do no damage to them. Most of the gear you get early in the game will do nothing to Guardians. Instead, you must wait for higher leveled gear to take them on. This includes specialized arrows- while Ancient Arrows are tailor made to take them out in one hit, should you manage to hit the bullseye, even Bomb Arrows, Fire Arrows, Electric Arrows, and Ice Arrows can do the trick. Similarly, higher leveled melee weapons can also take them on- if you have the gumption to get so up close to one, that is.

Their eyes are their weak spot. If you hit them in the eye, you can take them out far easier- in fact, if you hit them in the eye with the Ancient Arrow, you take them out in one hit. Use this fact to your advantage.

Breath of the Wild is an open world game. This means, naturally, that there are a lot of collectibles to find in the game’s world. But this being Nintendo, these collectibles aren’t banal, inane, trite tripe that they are in other open world games. Instead, here, they are all meaningful. Korok seeds increase inventory space, heart containers increase health, and chests always hide some good loot.

But in a world as wide, vast, and, well, open as Zelda‘s, not to mention as interactive, coming across everything that there is to find can be very difficult. That’s where we come in- the videos below will show you where to find collectibles in Breath of the Wild. Now be mindful of the fact that, since these will show every major location in the game, there may be some spoilers for you.

Without further ado, here’s a guide to tracking down all collectibles in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. These collectibles include: spirit orbs, korok seeds, heart containers, hidden chests, shiekah towers, memories, great fairy fountains and secrets.

Pushing beyond a limitless game's limits.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild attempts to place limits on you in many ways- your HP is obviously a natural one, as if you run out of health, you can’t do anything. By putting dangerous enemies in areas the game doesn’t want you to go, it tries to nudge you along in a direction it would rather you take. Your stamina is another- while you can run, jump, dodge, parry, spin attack, and climb anything, you are limited in your mobility by your stamina- and should you ever run out, you’re left vulnerable while you wait for it to regenerate. Money is, of course, another one- unlike previous games, Rupees are hard to find, and they are necessary to have important gear and items on you that can help tip the odds in your favor.

So naturally, you want to know how to push at these limits as much as you can. That’s where we come in.

Infinite Sprinting

Sprinting without limits can have multiple uses- not only can you traverse the world faster, but you can also get away from unexpectedly strong enemies you may have stumbled upon (such as a Guardian…). The video below shows you how to achieve this effect:

Infinite Stamina

Climbing mountains is an arduous task- and Link loses stamina appropriately to simulate this. However, there is one trick you have which can help you sort of glitch your way through. It’s simple. When you are about to run out of stamina (say you have a fifth of your final wheel left), press B to let go of the mountain. Immediately press B again while pushing the analog stick up. For a couple of seconds, Link seems to run in place as though on a flat surface, and regains stamina while he does so. Now continue climbing up.

Or you can just pack lots of Stamina recovery elixirs and food. Your call, really.

Making A Lot Of Money

Unlike previous games, Breath of the Wild makes it hard for you to make money. Rupees are hard to come by, and most things in the game cost a lot. However, there are some tips and tricks that can help you make a lot of money reasonably fast. The videos below share some of these:
