Piranha Bytes is back with ELEX… and admittedly, it is not their finest work to date. Still, those of you who can look past the jank to get into the nuances of their typically deep RPG mechanics will find a meaty RPG here waiting for you, if nothing else.

Others… will find themselves utterly, absolutely bewildered and overwhelmed, as you try to figure out just what you should be doing and where you should be going. ELEX is a big game, and it is also extremely obtuse- it makes no attempt to explain itself to the player.

So, in such a situation, what you might find yourself needing is some help- and if that is the case, we’re here for you with this video walkthrough for the title, complete with ending. Call of Duty is returning to its roots this year with Call of Duty: WW2 taking players back to the setting the games used to be synonymous with. And while we still have only a short cinematic campaign in this game unlike the more full featured campaigns in the classic games, it is still heartening to many to get the chance to play a World War II story again.

Or maybe you don’t want to play the story- maybe you just want to see what Sledgehammer is hyping up as a very authentic and emotionally real take on the most tragic and horrific war in human history. Whatever your reasons are for needing a walkthrough, we are here to help.

After a long absence, Sega has brought back the beloved Valkyria series with Valkyria Revolution; unfortunately, the new game appears to be a misfire, and most series fans are lamenting the new direction that Sega has taken with the game, which may end up conclusively killing all interest in the franchise once and for all.

However, it’s not quite that bad, and some fans of the series may yet be able to wrest some enjoyment out of it. If you want to see a playthrough of the game to see if you are one of those fans potentially, or if you are stuck and want to see how to proceed, this video walkthrough will help you. It’s been a long time coming, but Get Even, the psychological horror game by The Farm 51 and Bandai Namco, is now finally here. It’s an interesting title, if nothing else, eschewing an action game format to go for more psychological scares for the player.

RIME is finally out- the gorgeous puzzle platforming adventure game has been a long time coming, but now that it is finally here, players can, at last, play the game and experience for themselves a game that has been long in the making.

Of course, unlike so many other games today, RIME is not afraid to challenge the player, or to let the player get lost, or to let the player discover things for themselves. In fact, that is one of the best parts of the game, the sense of discovery, and the ensuing personal journey. So it is highly advisable that, should you feel stuck, lost, or frustrated in RIME, you take your time to figure things out for yourself. However, should you find yourself unable to progress, and it comes down to either playing the game with help, or not playing it at all, you’ll want a walkthrough.

That’s where we come in here. Just… remember to only use this as a last resort, okay?

Injustice was one of the rare video games where you actually could care about the story. With Nether Realm Studios being among the few among fighting game developers who can craft compelling single player content, including story modes, and with the fantastic utilization of the DC Comics mythos, the original Injustice‘s story mode was actually pretty compelling.

The same is also true of Injustice 2, which came out earlier this week. Its excellent story mode continues the story of the rebellion against Superman’s reign of tyranny, with Batman leading the charge to overthrow him. If you want to play through this story mode, and need help, you will need a walkthrough. Thankfully, we have one for you. The Surge is Deck 13’s newest take on the Dark Souls formula- and unlike their 2014 misadventure Lords of the Fallen, The Surge actually does fairly well for itself, thanks to its unique, science fiction setting, and the numerous mechanical and gameplay twists it introduces to the standard genre tropes.

That said, it is still a Souls-like. That means it is difficult, yes, but it also means that figuring out its labyrinths, and where to go and what to do, can be difficult at times. So if you feel lost or overwhelmed, that’s where we come in with this walkthrough. In this walkthrough, you will find a complete, start to finish playthrough of The Surge, complete with the ending.

Prey turned out to be fantastic- a haunting, thrilling, single player action RPG, in the vein of System Shock and Bioshock. The game has forged its own identity, and managed to truly stand out in a year full of great games. If you like games with emergent narratives, Prey is definitely going to be right up your alley, and something that you appreciate.

Of course, also consider that this game won’t hold your hand- and it is entirely possible for you to get stuck or lose yourself as a result. Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, the newest game in the cult hit shooter series by CI Games, is now out. The game has a load of technical issues plaguing it, such as long loading times, but for fans of its brand of shooting, there is nothing else quite like it, that’s for sure.

If you play the game, you may find yourself wanting help, or just stuck and unable to progress. Alternately, you simply may not want to play the game, and just want to watch someone else’s playthrough of it.
