A Variety report points out that THQ has partnered with Voltron rights holders, World Events Production and licensing representatives, Classic Media.

The game’s going to release in northern fall and will be “built” on the plot lines of the original cartoon series.

A new animated series will also accompany the game’s launch simultaneously.
