If you love chasing the fastest lap times in virtual settings, this year and beyond are packed with reasons to rev your engines.

With racing games getting a lot of visual fidelity and graphical boosts thanks to current-gen platforms, getting behind the wheel of your favorite cars is now all the more immersive. There have been some great additions to the racing simulator genre over the last couple of years, and 2026 is poised to carry that trend forward into the future with style.

If you’re wondering which of the year’s titles are going to have you burning rubber on the tracks as you let loose and push your engines to their limit, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a list of a few great racing titles that are confirmed, and a few more that might just make an appearance in 2026 and beyond.

1. Forza Horizon 6

The good news is that this one is confirmed for a 2026 release. The bad news is that Playground Games has yet to give us a precise release date for a very ambitious fourteenth addition to the Forza franchise. It takes the action to Tokyo this time around, with some of the city’s iconic locations making an appearance alongside a respectful take on Japanese racing culture being promised.

With Tokyo City shaping up to be the “most complex and intricate drivable space” in the franchise and its largest map ever, this one’s definitely one to watch out for this year.

2. RIDE 6

Milestone Games is all-set to bring adrenaline on two wheels to your gaming systems in February this year, with over 340 different motorcycles for you to climb onto in a game that’s welcoming to both newcomers and veterans. Its Arcade and Pro modes are great ways to take on a Career Mode that’s looking really good.

And speaking of good looks, the visuals on this one are quite impressive, and we can’t wait to see if hitting the circuits on offer feels as real and as good as the real thing.

3. Screamer

This arcade racer is futuristic, fascinating, and just plain old fun from the little snippets of it we’ve been checking out. With a unique control scheme in which you steer with your left stick and drift with your right, coupled with an anime vibe that’s sure to catch your eye, Screamer takes the best of its past iterations and brings them to an experience that’s poised to take the franchise to the future.

There’s also speed boosts on accurate gear shifts, and even Shields and abilities that let you take other racers out of the equation entirely. We’re already drooling at the thought!

4. Gear.Club Unlimited 3 (Switch 2)

With a global fleet of over 40 fully customizable cars, and a Highway Rush mode alongside a story mode that takes you across France and Japan, the Switch 2 debut of this one is sure to give you and your buddies a solid reason to get together for more than a few game nights.

As a timed exclusive on the Switch 2, this one is sure to find a few takers when it releases later this year and eventually makes its way to other platforms later down the line.

5. Tokyo Xtreme Racer (PS5)

We were quite impressed with Genki’s revival of this classic arcade-style racer when it was released for the PC last year. It brought great visual and audio design to an experience that was both fresh and familiar, thanks to its faithful recreation of what put Tokyo Xtreme Racer on the map in the first place.

And now you get to weave in and out of traffic on the PS5, the Shuto Expressway being the stage for some very nerve-wracking racing action that rewards speed and reflexes in a way that makes this one a very satisfying racer.

6. Star Wars: Galactic Racer

If racing around in fancy vehicles in a galaxy that’s both immediately recognizable and yet far, far, away sounds like your thing, this arcade racer is sure to have caught your attention when it was announced at TGS 2025.

With different vehicle classes that vary in terms of their physics, a single-player campaign and multiplayer options, this is definitely a racer you want to try for yourself when it comes out later this year.

7. LANESPLIT

If you’re looking for a plug-and-play experience in which you just hop on your bike and speed away as you weave between vehicles in traffic, this one’s for you. Sure, it may not be the most polished one on this list, but it more than makes up for that with its simplicity.

While the early access demo didn’t have too much of a roster of bikes for us to choose from, the full release, due later this year, comes with a respectable amount of options to use in its no-frills gameplay loop.

8. Super Woden: Rally Edge

Solid driving mechanics, an excellent career mode, class-specific events, head-to-head races, and so much more make this one of 2026’s most well-rounded racing simulators. There’s even an option for four players to play on a split-screen if you buy it as a way to bring the gang together for some racing fun.

There are a lot of cars and stages for you to choose from, and as far as racing games go, this one is sure to bring you many hours of fun if you give it a shot. While there is room for minor improvements, this one is good enough to make you overlook them, thanks to how well-implemented it is and how engaging it is to play.

9. Assetto Corsa EVO 1.0

This one managed to grab quite a few eyeballs when it dropped on early access in 2025, and with the full release poised to bring a lot of excellent additions to the table, we’re definitely excited to see how it shapes up.

With several game modes, a good selection of cars and tracks, and some excellent physics making each race feel as authentic as it can be, this is a title that purists are going to enjoy to the fullest.

10. Carmageddon: Rogue Shift

Carmageddon is making a return this year, and how! You’re driving around in a literal dystopia, with a zombie apocalypse well underway in this arcade-racing roguelite.

With dynamically adjusting difficulties across procedurally generated stages, a bunch of cars, weapon types, and so much more to discover, this is a fun-filled rampage that’s sure to bring some fond memories of the titles that came before it.

11. Wreckfest 2 1.0

With a revamped visual flavor courtesy of the ROMU Engine and a gameplay loop that’s every bit as destructive as fans of the first title would remember, Wreckfest 2 is going to be one hell of a destructive derby racer when it launches sometime in the near future.

The destruction is all there, as are a lot of options to have some fun behind the wheel of a newly customizable car. This one is sure to have you grinning from ear to ear as you let your intrusive thoughts take the wheel.

12. Endurance Motorsport Series

Realistic driving physics coupled with faithful recreations of tracks from all over the world make this one a simulator worth looking into. Adding more flavor to the mix is the fact that it isn’t just your driving that counts in this one, but in the way you and your team adapt to varying conditions out on the track.

Expect to make some fast decisions while you’re trying to get out ahead of your competition, and for an experience that could be as close to the real thing as it can get.

13. F1 2025 Paid Expansion

There won’t be an F1 26 this year, but F1 25 is getting a paid expansion that’s poised to add a ton of new content to the game while switching up its rules and systems to better align with this year’s Formula One season.

That’s great news made even better by the knowledge that the developers now have more time to focus on what’s shaping up to be a very ambitious title being lined up for the franchise in 2027!

14. Akina

If you can’t seem to let go of your Tokyo Drift obsession, this arcade racer set in the Japanese mountains and countryside is going to catch your fancy. Set for release later this year, this one takes you back to an age of Japanese racing that many enthusiasts look back on quite fondly.

With a world that’s charmingly crafted, and the scope for some sharp turns on the cards, Akina might just be the one to beat if drifting is your thing.

15. CarX Drift Racing Online 2

If you’re thinking about taking a more professional approach to drifting, this one might be the perfect choice for you. Realistic physics coupled with gameplay systems that are tuned to mimic competition rules in the real world, along with single and multiplayer modes for you to take on, make this one a viable alternative to Akina and a more serious contender for the genre’s best titles.

Building on its predecessor’s best features while bringing excellent changes of its own, this one has us eager to try it out when it drops in the first quarter of 2026.

And that’s a wrap on all of the racing titles we’re quite excited to try out in 2026 and beyond! We hope to see you on the track.

The digital showcase will feature Titan Quest 2, Gothic Remake, Reanimal and Wreckfest 2 alongside a "few surprises" from the publisher.

Publisher THQ Nordic has announced that it will be hosting a showcase. Dubbed the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2025, the event will take place on August 1 and will be live-streamed for free through its official channels. Check out the teaser trailer announcing the showcase below.

The teaser shows off clips from a variety of different games, ranging from big-budget action titles to smaller-scaled 2D indie games. The genres for all these games also span across a wide variety, with the teaser including driving games, what appears to be a survival crafting game, a horror game, and even potentially a Souls-styled action RPG.

While the publisher hasn’t yet revealed the full list of games we can expect to see at this showcase, it has confirmed that some of its already-announced titles, including Gothic Remake, Titan Quest 2, Reanimal, The Eternal Life of Goldman, and Wreckfest 2 will be among the titles showcased at the event.

Gothic Remake is likely to be one of the flagship projects showcased at the event since it appears to be close to finishing off development. The game has been getting quite a few videos for it, including a series of Making Of videos where its developers talk about their experience in remaking a beloved cult-classic RPG.

“Our job was to find out what elements should stay exactly as they are and what elements should be expanded,” said studio director Reinhard Pollice in one of the Making Of videos from back in April. Pollice also spoke about narrative refinements being made in the remake to help patch up inconsistencies, plot holes, and contradictions.

Another Making Of video from back in February featured the developers talking about the “essence” of the seminal RPG. “What was amazing to me the first time that I played Gothic was how you could solve a lot of situations by taking advantage of everyone,” said technical artist Roger Llovera. “Everyone would take advantage of you, of course, but then you have chances where you can take advantage of a character killing a Scavenger for you.”

Titan Quest 2 – an action RPG that was first announced all the way back in 2023, will also be getting a showcase. The original Titan Quest was developed by a team that would go on to found Crate Entertainment and release Grim Dawn. The action RPG featured a unique skill and class system where players had the freedom to choose between two bespoke skill trees that would then make up their class.

The story of the original Titan Quest was a world-spanning one involving ancient Greek, ancient Egyptian, and ancient Chinese mythologies. The game also got an expansion that brought with it the Greek Underworld, where players had to take on Hades, as well as another expansion – Ragnarok – with the player facing off against Gods and other creatures from Norse mythology.

Another expansion – Eternal Embers – brought along even more content to the title in the form of an Act 6.

Bug Bear Studios is back with even more detailed crashes and destructive driving, but it may have jumped the gun a little early.

With how successful and well-regarded the first game is, it makes sense for developer Bug Bear to repeat the early access process with Wreckfest 2. Out now on PC via Steam, the sequel promises more realistic crashes with enhanced physics and higher fidelity. The problem? It has quite a ways to go, even by early access standards.

Not Much Content

When playing through the beta preview version of Wreckfest 2 before its early access launch, I was concerned about the content available. Bug Bear already confirmed that a revamped Career Mode will arrive later at some point in early access. So what’s there instead? Quick Race on a single track, the ability to set up a Custom Race, Multiplayer matchmaking and a Server Browser. You can also customize the colors of the four available cars. That’s pretty much it.

Tracks

Surely, the number of tracks makes up for the low number of modes and cars, right? Well, Wreckfest 2 does feature four locations – Savolax Sandpit, Speedway, Scrapyard and Testing Grounds. Some have different layouts – Savolax has a reverse track variant, while Speedway has Race, Derby and Figure 8 layouts. Similarly, the Scrapyard has the Main Route and Bonebreaker.

Overall, there are eight in total, but the problem is that some carry over from the first game, so long-time fans will feel a sense of deja vu. I’m not going to tell you how much content it should have by early access standards. Just know that this is the amount available from the outset if you’re getting in on the ground level.

Custom Race

Since Single Race only offers a single track, Scrapyard, with one configuration, you’ll want to go to Custom Race for some actual variety. This is where you can choose a different track and adjust several aspects, like the class of your opponents, the number of laps, how long it takes for your car to reset, car damage, the time of day, and the number of racers.

The traditional racing mode is called Banger Racing, which essentially involves racing around the track and crashing into your opponents with impunity. You’re still trying to place higher than them but there’s a neat little score that keeps track of all the ramming, T-Bones, and crashes.

Demolition Deathmatch

Alternatively, you could go into Demolition Deathmatch. Available only on the arena-style maps, the objective is to mercilessly crash into other racers. Each vehicle has a health bar of sorts, though that can get depleted quickly depending on how many different parts get damaged (and how extensively).

The player with the highest crash score by the end of the match – or when they’re effectively destroyed – is the winner. Among the many maps available, Testing Grounds is perhaps the best place to let loose with those demolition derby urges, as it offers ramps, springs, and a clean aesthetic for admiring the sheer destruction.

Car Handling

One of the biggest selling points of Wreckfest and its sequel is how its cars aren’t the sleekest machines out there. You’re controlling some absolute junkers – they feel muscular and strong enough when you get out on the track, their weight reflected in the handling. Upon taking damage, however, they feel like shambling messes – pulling along as if by sheer force of will, yet hanging on by a thread.

It adds an interesting dynamism to races as you struggle, seemingly against all odds, to get this hunk of junk across the finish line, regardless of the position. I also liked how the track surfaces would affect handling, alternating between tight and responsive on asphalt to less traction and more sliding on sand.

Realistic Destruction and Crashes

Suffice it to say that those enhanced physics are working overtime (without going over the top). Cars can go from relatively solid, if beat up, to absolutely smashes. Tires fly off. The hood pops up, blocking your perspective while driving in first-person, or folds inward, turning that Camaro-like knock-off into something Mr Bean would be proud of.

It’s amusing to see just how deformed your car (and others) can become before it gives out, and the pile-ups involving multiple vehicles can be hilarious. Of course, the physics extends to the environment, with tyres on the outside going flying. Some structures can even hang off your vehicle if you run into them.

PC Performance

While playing the preview version ahead of early access, I was downright mortified at the performance of Wreckfest 2. Fortunately, that’s not the case with the current build. With AMD FSR 3.0 enabled (no DLSS, though you can opt for FXAA, MSAA or some combination of the two), I set almost everything to High at 1440p and saw some pretty good performance to match the fidelity. The performance took a hit during online matches, but nothing too serious that made the racing unbearable. Bug Bear has confirmed that the requirements will lower as early access progresses, so things can only improve from here.

Changing Resolution

Oddly enough, however, you can’t set the resolution or enable V-Sync in-game. Instead, you must launch the game and select “Change Settings.” This opens up a different window which lets you choose the graphics preset (which can also be adjusted in-game) alongside the screen resolution, aspect ratio, V-Sync, and Windowed Mode before playing. Why can’t you have these options in-game? I’m not sure, but if you were confused as to why these options were seemingly missing, that’s where to find them.

Multiplayer

I can’t say I expected much from multiplayer, especially with an all-time peak concurrent player count of less than 3,200 at launch. Matchmaking takes a bit of time, but once you’re in a lobby, there’s a high chance of waiting until the current race is complete before you can get in. If there aren’t enough players, bots will fill in the slots.

The overall server stability isn’t the best right now – I found myself disconnected both before the race began and near the end. The development team has addressed other issues with online play, but if you’re counting on it to fill the void left by the lackluster single-player content, it also feels extremely barebones. At least the Server Browser is working well enough.

Future Updates and Conclusion

With such a sparse foundation, when can you expect more content for Wreckfest 2? The first update arrives in two months for free, adding two new cars and tracks. As for the future, there’s little else to do but wait and see.

At $29.99, Wreckfest 2 is a hard sell in its current state, and that’s even with gameplay elements like the handling and crash physics feeling pretty good. It’s probably the best possible advertisement for the original – if you’re new, revisiting the past is ideal, especially with how much more content is offered. As it stands, the sequel is neither good, bad, or average – it simply isn’t much of anything right now beyond a foundation for what’s to come. If you enjoyed the first one enough to support the sequel’s development, then by all means, but it will be a while before it reaches the same lofty heights.

The first release of Wreckfest 2 will rely quite a bit on player feedback throughout its minimum 12 months of Early Access.

Developer Bugbear and publisher THQ Nordic have announced that mayhem-filled combat racing game Wreckfest 2 is out now as an Early Access release on PC. Available through Steam, the Early Access launch came alongside a trailer that you can check out below.

The trailer makes it very clear that Wreckfest 2 is far from complete at this stage. The studio has stated that there will be a lot of learning and bug fixing going on as players spend more and more time with the game. Alongside that, the studio has also revealed some of the new technology the game is using, including physics for vehicle suspension, deformation and driver interaction.

As the trailer puts it, Wreckfest 2 currently has its first few tracks and cars, and the studio is entrusting players to help it find all of the possible issues with the game before it’s properly released. The studio is also looking for feedback from players for potential new features that could come to the game down the line.

“We need your support and feedback to make this the best wrecking experience it can be,” wrote the studio on Wreckfest 2‘s description on Steam. “Wreckfest 1 was also in Early Access and became a big success thanks to the feedback and dedication of our community, so we want to do this again!”

While no concrete release date for a 1.0 release of Wreckfest 2 has been given, the studio believes that the Early Access period will go on for at minimum 12 months, depending on the community feedback it gets from players.

As for what content is already in the game, Wreckfest 2 includes racing and derby game modes for both single-player as well as online multiplayer. There is also a sandbox map where players can mess around with the game’s physics and the “destructive capabilities” of the new technologies that the game is using.

In totality, there are 3 distinct maps, each with multiple tracks. The Scrapyard map has a Circuit course with intersections and a Crazy course with oncoming traffic. The Speedway map has a Figure 8 Circuit, and a Speedway Oval Circuit. The Derby Arena has the Sandpit map, which is a remade version of the same map from the original Wreckfest, along with the Circuit long route and its reverse variant.

Players can drive through these maps and tracks in four different cars: 2 ’60s and ’70s American muscle cars, one ’80s EU compact banger car, and one ’90s US intermediate banger car. There are also some basic customisation options, including paint customisation for vehicles, a garage to edit and save car designs, a replay mode and a photo mode.

While its Early Access release is currently limited to PC, the studio revealed when it first announced Wreckfest 2 that it would also be making its way on to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Check out the trailer used to originally announce the game all the way back in August 2024, where the game’s new overhauled physics engine was first shown off.

Bad Guitar Studio’s free-to-play competitive shooter Fragpunk finally arrives on March 6th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC and caters to the Valorant crowd. That is if Valorant had an even more bombastic art style and cards that introduce modifiers, from larger heads to flipping the level upside down. As far-fetched as it seems, Fragpunk’s mix of abilities and cards is endearing – here’s hoping it’s also long-lasting.

Split Fiction

Better than It Takes Two (according to director Josef Fares) and promising to blow people away (again, according to Fares). Regardless of the signature hyperbole, Hazelight’s latest co-op adventure looks quite good. As Mio and Zoe, two writers stuck in a simulation, players venture across sci-fi and fantasy worlds with a ridiculous number of gameplay mechanics. Mechs, gravity changes, dragon-riding, spacewalks, even sausage making (turned terrifying) – it’s all here and out on March 6th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. And only one person needs to own a copy to play with a friend, thanks to the Friend’s Pass.

Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster

Launching on March 6th for all platforms, Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster is exactly what it says – a remastered compilation of Konami’s first two award-winning role-playing games with updated effects and HD backgrounds. Quality-of-life features like a conversation log, auto-save and Fast Forward for combat should make the journeys to gather all 108 Stars of Destiny much smoother. If you enjoyed Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and always wanted to experience its inspiration, now’s the time.

WWE 2K25

With Cody Rhodes finishing his story, the past year or so of WWE has focused heavily on the Bloodline. So it should come as no surprise that the new Showcase in WWE 2K25, out on March 14th, is all about the faction, incorporating past and present Samoan wrestlers while debuting a new social space called The Island for players to hang out. With over 300 wrestlers, a new unified MyRISE mode, online multiplayer for MyGM and new match types, there’s quite a lot on the card.

MLB The Show 25

The show never truly ends for Sony San Diego Studio. and this year, it’s looking to implement major improvements based on fan feedback. Road to Show is revamped, offering eight licensed teams while still following the Path to 99 progression. Diamond Dynasty dabbles with rogue-like mechanics, Storylines continue, and the gameplay has seen numerous improvements. MLB The Show 25 launches on March 18th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, though unfortunately, not for Game Pass.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows

After months of delays, rumors, and extensive gameplay showings, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is poised for release on March 20th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Ubisoft is mixing up quite a bit with its dual protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke, but also returning to its stealth action roots while revamping the parkour and adding seasons. Between the base-building, scouting, loot, and late Sengoku era intrigue, there’s tons to unpack, but can it revive the publisher’s fortunes? That’s the million-dollar question.

Rise of the Rōnin (PC)

Insert a joke about playing a better open-world action RPG set in Japan. But in all seriousness, Rise of the Ronin’s PC version is worth looking forward to. It not only features ray tracing, up to 8K, 120 FPS, support for various upscalers and more, but it comes packed with all the post-launch updates, including more challenging missions and new loot. It arrives on March 11th via Steam.

Killing Floor 3

Killing Zeds in 2091, where Horzine has spliced the undead with cybernetic technology to craft new horrors. As a Specialist of Nightfall, it’s your job to resist, undertaking missions with up to five other players. All the tenets of Killing Floor are present, from highly customizable weapons and wave-based combat to modifiers on higher difficulties and Grindhouse levels of gore. The far future premise may turn some off, but after playing the closed beta, the full game may be the bloodiest of good times when it launches on March 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.

Atomfall

Survival sandbox post-Windscale fire disaster set in and around an isolated village. A somewhat despotic military, cults, bandits, mysterious bunkers, mutants, and naturally, a voice in a telephone booth telling you to kill someone. Rebellion Developments’ Atomfall is certainly something, to the extent that even its lead designer is intrigued at how it may or may not work out. It launches on March 27th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC, so it won’t take long for us to find out.

The First Berserker: Khazan

When the Les Pollos Empire – and the world at large – faced disaster at the hands of the Berserk Dragon, it turned to one legendary general to save it. However, after being forsaken by his king, Khazan would be badly wounded and exiled…that is, until the Blade Phantom took up residence in his body, offering a path to revenge. Regardless of your connection to the Dungeon and Fighter lore, there’s no denying the brutal yet responsive combat or the stunning world design. The First Berserker: Khazan arrives on March 27th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.

Two Point Museum

If managing a hospital and a university wasn’t enough, Two Point Studios is dooming human culture further by placing you in charge of a museum. Organize exhibits and tours, manage guests, decorate the floor, and even send expeditions to garner artifacts. With five museum locations and a sandbox mode, there’s plenty of room – and challenges – to become the perfect curator. Two Point Museum arrives on March 4th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.

AI Limit

Another Souls-like anime-style action RPG, this one offers a post-apocalyptic world not unlike that of Code Vein (minus the vampires). As a Blader arriving in mankind’s last standing city, Havenswell, it’s your job to repair the Branches. Be careful, as massive beasts, ravenous warriors, and terrifying monsters roam the city, seeking your end. Launching on March 27th, AI Limit will be available for PS5 and PC.

Wreckfest 2

Through various trials and tribulations, Flatout’s spiritual successor Wreckfest underwent four years of early access before releasing to strong critical praise. It’s finally getting a sequel in the form of Wreckfest 2, which is also going the early access route on March 20th. Overhauled physics, more “intense” crashes – Bugbear promises it all and then some, including a forthcoming revamp of career mode. There’s a lot of content coming later, but at launch, it should be yet another smash hit.

Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone

If you had to order someone to dimension-hop and steal the precious MacGuffin-like Chernobylite, who else to send but Cole Grey, even if he does get stranded? Though the sequel embraces more action RPG-esque combat and multiple classes, you’ll still have to gather materials and survive across irradiated landscapes, with or without companions. With about 30 percent of the full game, Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone will launch on March 6th for PC via early access.

The next 12 months and beyond are looking awesome for racing game fans.

2024 was a decent year for racing games if a little bereft of new entries from long-standing series. For 2025, the outlook doesn’t look any different in that regard; Criterion are still deep in production on the next as-yet unannounced Need for Speed game, Forza Horizon 6 may-or-may-not make an appearance this year given Playground Games’ focus on Fable’s long-awaited reboot, Mario Kart 9 we’ve only seen the briefest glimpse of in Nintendo’s Switch 2 announcement trailer.

That said, there are some excellent racing games coming this year, and the list we’ve provided here – which, for the record, is ordered via least to most anticipated – arguably displays more promise than 2024. Note though, racers we’d expect to see new entries for – namely F1 25, MotoGP 25, and possibly RIDE 6 – have been left out to give space for some lesser-known titles to shine.

Endurance Motor Series

Experience the slow-burning drama of endurance racing in Endurance Motor Series, upcoming from studio KT Racing who’re deviating from their usual fayre of WRC and MXGP games (glossing over Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown) to put you behind the wheel of the world’s most hardwearing motorcars. However, honing your stamina for long-distance racing is only half the experience. In a unique twist, in Endurance Motor Series you can virtually hot desk between the car and the pit wall, modifying race strategy via abundant data sources including a neat weather radar.

Those who’ve played Wreckfest will tell you that it’s one of the best arcade racers to have been released in recent memory, and developer Bugbear Entertainment and publisher THQ Nordic have now announced that it’s getting a sequel. Wreckfest 2 was officially announced at the recent THQ Nordic Digital Showcase. Check out its announcement trailer below.

Wreckfest 2 will feature an overhauled physics engine, doubling down on its destruction mechanics, in addition to new customization mechanics that will allow players to create “the car of their dreams” and then share those vehicles online.

Beyond that, you can also look forward to what’s being billed as a completely reimagined career mode, as well as new multiplayer features such as a new skill-based matchmaking system, splitscreen support, and server queues, as well as bite-sized challenges, limited-time tournament events, and more.
