Team 17 announced new DLC for Worms 2: Armageddon on Xbox LIVE Arcade call the The Worms 2: Armageddon “Puzzle Pack” is now available on Xbox LIVE Arcade, with more DLC coming in a few weeks.  It has 5 new achievements and costs 320 Microsoft Points.  Team 17 also announced the release of the Worms 2: Armageddon “Time Attack Pack” and the  Worms 2: Armageddon “Retro Pack” on PlayStation 3 through the PSN.  The packs will run you $4.99 each adding 12 trophies.  Here is the full press release.

London, UK – 24th August, 2011 – Today, wizards of worming Team 17 announced the arrival of new DLC for Worms™ 2: Armageddon on Xbox™ LIVE Arcade. The Worms™ 2: Armageddon “Puzzle Pack” is now available to download for Xbox 360™ from Xbox™ LIVE Arcade, with further DLC packs also set for release over the coming weeks.

“The “Puzzle Pack” is crammed full of brain-teasing puzzles that will challenge even the most seasoned “Worms” players, but we are confident that they are up to it” explains Team 17 Head of Design John Dennis. “Offering a mind-boggling collection of 20 single-player puzzle missions, which require the player to be as cunning as a fox who’s just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxbridge University (wherever that is?!). With the addition of 5 brand new Achievements, a new landscape theme and a selection of new, puzzle-themed hats, gravestones and speech-banks, it’s a real test of skill.”

Today you can get an amazing deal on all of the Mass Effect 2 DLC.  You can get all three packs for 200 Microsoft Points each.  That’s 600 Points for basically all the Mass Effect 2 add on content.  If you bought the game new and have the Cerberus Network for free then the only add on content you have to buy is the ‘Lair of the Shadow Broker’ at 1.5 gig, ‘Kasumi – Stolen Memory’ and the ‘Overlord’ pack each only costing you 200 points.  Grab while you can, because I don’t see it being advertised that much on the dashboard and it might only be available today.  This was our game of the year pick so don’t haste and grab the deals while you can.
