Gotta go fast! And sound sweet when you do.

Milestone have released a trailer that might appeal to you MotoCross fans. In an effort to ensure their next racing title, MXGP sounds as real as possible they’ve just gone right on ahead and straight up strapped microphones (amongst other piece of recording kit) to the riders and let them loose.

There’s some pretty neat first person footage of the riders bombing around the track and those bikes have a much deeper bite than expected. If the game sounds like that when you’re in first person, that’s reason enough to purchase it if you’re an audiophile. Of course MotoCross fans will get a kick out of the enhanced realism, new tracks and riders and much more.

MXGP drops on October 17th for PS4, so if that’s your jam then get on it already. It’s already on PS Vita, Xbox 360 and PC. What are your thoughts on the audio recording process? Let us know below.

Battlefield 4 continues to be updated for current and next gen consoles with the latest update introducing a range of fixes and a few new additions for players.

One of the key new features is the ability for Xbox One players to communicate to other via VOIP chat in Commander Mode. So if you’re playing the game via the Commander App, you can now issue commands to players through voice on your tablet.

Other new additions include adding Conquest Small to the Xbox One and PS4 versions while also bringing a new competitive Obliteration mode to the forefront. You’ll find the usual weapon rebalances and bug fixes as well in this update. PC users running Mantle can rejoice as DICE has fixed a low frame rate issue caused by those using multi-GPU Mantle settings.
