"Designed to fit nearly every pocket and budget," the Nano is the company's smallest controller ever, weighing only 3.5 ounces.

After the baffling Xbox Labs announcement, the company has something a little bit less vague: A new controller. Dubbed the Xbox Nano and “designed to fit nearly every pocket and budget,” it’s available to pre-order today for $49.99. So not exactly budget-friendly, but the thought certainly counts.

What sets it apart from the rest of the Xbox controller family is its size, unsurprisingly. Weighing 3.5 ounces and measuring slightly over five inches in length, it’s touted as Xbox’s smallest controller ever. You can slide it into your hoodie pocket and, design-wise, it bears a slight resemblance to the 8BitDo Pro 3.

Alongside a rechargeable battery and an Action Button for shortcuts, the Xbox Nano supports wireless and Bluetooth, making it ideal for both PC and consoles. It’s available starting in November in the United States, Norway, France, Japan, Italy, China, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Korea, and many other regions, though the price may vary.

That lines up pretty nicely with the upcoming changes to Xbox Cloud Gaming. Starting next month, Game Pass subscribers will have their hours capped going forward, but you’ll be able to purchase additional hours. While pricing has yet to be announced, the decision hasn’t gone down well with fans. But with how the new regime has reacted so far, it may adjust things, so stay tuned for updates.
