Knack 2 could be a thing according to a LinkedIn profile discovered for XPEC Entertainment 3D animator Mindy Liang. According to the CV (as per NeoGAF) Liang ‘s main job was “animated 3D character motions and cutscenes” for Knack 2 on the PlayStation 4.

This particular section of the CV has since been removed and no details of Knack 2 can be spotted. Is the game in development? It’s not far-fetched, even though the original game was heavily panned by critics. However, it could be that the game was only in the prototyping stage and never received the approval for release.

Either way, there’s been no official announcement of the same since the first Knack launched with the PS4 in late 2013. The title saw some decent sales, especially since it was bundled with the PS4 in many instances, but critics dismissed it for its overall gameplay.

Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy 15 will also be developed by HexaDrive under the name XPEC Entertainment. Famitsu has corroborated the news as well.

HexaDrive has a fairly solid reputation with Square Enix having brought Final Fantasy Type-0 from the PSP to the PS4 and Xbox One in a fairly solid fashion. The studio has till now been known for its HD remasters of Okami, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Zone of the Enders, each receiving praise for critics for their excellent production values.

The world has already had a chance to experience Final Fantasy 15 thanks to the Episode Duscae demo that shipped with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and while competent from a gameplay point of view, the game ran at an unstable frame rate and somewhat disappointing resolution.

We’re looking forward to the final version though and HexaDrive’s involvement will only speed up that process. Stay tuned for more information on the same in the coming months.

Activision has announced that Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure is available now at retailers across Europe. The Starter Pack includes the game, three Skylanders action figures, the Portal of Power peripheral, a poster and trading cards.

Activision united in-house talent with top Hollywood talent to create Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure’s unique world.  The game and technology were developed by Activision’s Novato, California studio, Toys for Bob, led by creative director and studio head Paul Reiche. The adventure-driven story was penned by Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen, two of the Academy Award-nominated writers of the original Toy Story movie, Academy Award-winning composer, Hans Zimmer, created the game’s theme song and Lorne Balfe composed the score. 

Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure includes a vast single player adventure, co-op gameplay, battle modes, puzzle solving and treasure hunts.  The result is a line of highly collectible characters, an engaging story and an unparalleled interactive entertainment experience.  The game is rated PEGI 7. 

Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure lets kids take on the role of a powerful Portal Master, who can control over 30 different characters, including the beloved purple dragon Spyro.
