Destiny may finally have a date for its April Update but it’s still business as usual until then. That means Xur has returned to the Tower with the same old Exotics that you probably have (or don’t have) from before. He’ll be there near the Speaker till March 20th, 2 AM PST.

This week, Xur is selling An Insurmountable Skullfort (Titan helm), Obsidian Mind (Warlock helm) and Radiant Dance Machines (Hunter boots), each for 13 Strange Coins. There’s also the Zhalo Supercell, an Exotic auto rifle which shoots Arc bullets, chains lightning between enemies and recharges your Super while adding ammo after each double kill. It’s tons of fun and worth buying at 23 Strange Coins.

The usual merch like Three of Coins, Glass Needles and Heavy Ammo Synths remain to be purchased. Stay tuned for more information on the April Update, which releases on April 12th, in the coming weeks and let us know what you think of Xur’s stock in the comments.

Agent of the Nine Xur has returned to the Reef in Bungie’s Destiny. Head over to the Vestian Outpost and look for him near the Bounty board. He’ll remain there will August 2nd, 2 AM PDT.

As for Xur’s inventory, the tentacle-faced one brings No Backup Plans (Exotic Titan gloves), Knucklehead Radar (Exotic Hunter helm) and Claws of Ahamkara (Exotic Warlock gloves) for 13 Strange Coins each.

Overall, it’s not a bad line-up of gear especially in terms of stat rolls and it’s capped off by the Exotic auto rifle SUROS Regime which is available for 23 Strange Coins. Auto rifles may be effectively useless right now but with patch 2.0 dropping in a month or so, you may want to pick this up when the Crucible meta shifts in their favour.

Exotic Helm engrams are also available for 23 Motes of Light but beware – you may not always get what you want.

Everyone’s favourite Exotic vendor of the Nine Xur has returned to the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny and brings a new inventory. Xur is available till May 3rd, 1 AM PST and you can find him near the Vanguard Quartermaster.

This week, Xur packs a highly sought after Exotic Warlock chest with Heart of the Praxic Fire. Costing 13 Strange Coins, this chest piece reduces the cooldown of all abilities while Radiance is active. Combined with the Sunsinger’s perk for increasing the duration of Radiance, it’s possible to toss grenades every second and do a fair amount of damage.

Other Exotic gear on offer includes Ruin Wings (Exotic Titan gloves) and Don’t Touch Me (Exotic Hunter gloves) for 13 Strange Coins each – but make sure you invest in Exotic Gauntlet Engrams for 23 Motes of Light first, just to see if you can get either item from them. Hard Light, an Exotic auto rifle, is also available for 23 Strange Coins but given all the nerfs and the generally low impact of the gun, it’s not worth the trouble.

For a while now, we’ve been bringing you news that corresponds to the popular first person shooter, Destiny. A feature of this game, as you’re probably aware, is the acquisition of loot by grinding away hours of gameplay. But if you don’t have a lot of time to sink into the game, you have Xur.

Xur is a salesman who makes visits to the Tower in Destiny, on his visits he brings rare and hard to obtain pieces of equipment including weapons and armours from all aspects of the game. For some time, the stock of Xur has been known about ahead of time because of Data mining, lending players a little bit of an edge in the game.

Now a small hotfix is live in the game which didn’t add any features, instead if tweaked Xur. One Data miner said, “Instead of Xur having one single constant IP on one port, he now has multiple.” This makes locating and mining the relevant information quite a bit more tricky, but with Xur’s stock becoming illusive, the information for Nightfalls and Weekly’s is thought to still be available.

Of course, take this information with grain of salt since this isn’t coming from official sources. But given that the popular Destiny data miner Megamanexe4 has been leaking Xur’s inventory every week, we will know soon enough whether Bungie have indeed set Xur on multiple IPs. We will keep you updated.

Update: The weapons listed here are in the the loot table but they won’t necessarily be sold this week. This comment by megamanexe4 possibly indicates that Hard Light will be made available on 3rd March and Thunderlord on 10th. This makes sense since the latest XUR update for today does not have Hard Light so it’s most likely going to be made available next week. We will follow up with another post once we have an update.

Original Story: For the past few weeks, the mysterious MEGAMANEXE4 has been leaking and bringing the gaming world information regarding upcoming Destiny DLC and events. Today is no different as the mysterious user has somehow obtained and revealed the upcoming Stock of Xur Agent of the Nine.

The items on sale from the vendor are said to be the Exotic Auto Rifle Hard Light and the Exotic Machine Gun Thunderlord. Know this, we don’t know where MEGAMANEXE4 is getting this information, or even if it’s legitimate. It’s entirely possible that everything thus has just been accurate prediction. But as before, the claims have been backed up with images that seem to back his case.

Not content with simply announcing what Xur will have in stock ahead of time, he seems to think that the Iron Banner Tournament will commence once again on March 17th with Xur selling the Machine Gun Jolder’s Hammer alongside some other goodies.

The Destiny community, who have been grinding through hours and hours of missions to try and get their hands on the best loot, recently threw a bit of a temper tantrum on the Destiny sub-Reddit when the salesmen, Xur, appeared in the tower with the same stock of weapons as before.

While some gamers shrugged it off and went back to playing, others took to the internet to complain. Destiny’s community manager, Deej, took time out to respond to the gamers and their “conspiracy theories” that are “symptoms of a burning desire”.

He successfully shot down all the arguments of a greater plan that was put in play by Bungie, he did this by saying, “Xur is randomized. There are times when we can pull off miracles like making him stay in the Tower longer, but his inventory is governed by the same chaos that influences all the loot drops.”

He finished up by saying that he’s not “always in the loop when it comes to these things,” and that he’s going to talk to the people that drive Xur’s code and try to “make him more valuable to you in the future.”

Agent of the Nine’s Xur has returned to Destiny’s Tower, bringing new Exotic warez and upgrades for desperate Guardians. Xur is located in the Tower North near the Speaker and will be present till 1 AM PDT, December 21st. What is Xur carrying?

Well, he’ll have Ruin Wings (Exotic Titan Gauntlets available for 13 Strange Coins); Knucklehead Radar (Exotic Titan Helm for 13 Strange Coins); Claws of Ahamkara (Exotic Warlock Gauntlets for 13 Strange Coins); Exotic Helm Engrams for 23 Motes of Light; Exotic Shards for 7 Strange Coins; and the Exotic Sniper Rifle Patience and Time for 17 Strange Coins. The key perk of this sniper rifle is active camouflage when aiming down the sights.

Keep in mind that the Ruin Wings and Knucklehead Radar will require The Dark Below expansion to purchase. Those looking to upgrade their Exotic Gear will have the Crest of Alpha Lupi (for Hunters and Titans), No Backup Plans, Lucky Raspberry, Heart of Praxic Fire and Sunbreakers.

As for weapons, you’ll be able to upgrade the Thorn, MIDA Multi-Tool, Plan C, Truth, Universal Remote, Monte Carlo and Super Good Advice. You’ll need about 7000 to 8000 Glimmer and an Exotic Shard to upgrade the Exotic piece. It will also have to be leveled up from scratch.

Destiny’s lovable Agent of the Nine – depending on the inventory he’s carrying for the week – Xur has returned to the Tower in Bungie’s online shooter. You can find him by heading to the Tower Hangar and taking the first right from the entrance.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to be carrying many different things from the week before.

For instance, if you already picked up the Exotic fusion rifle Plan C, then you’ll be disappointed to learn that it’s available again this week for 17 Strange Coins. It’s still a wonderful fusion rifle but quite frankly, it already had it’s time in the sun.

Other inventory includes Heavy Ammo Synthesis (1 Strange Coin), the Helm of Inmost Light (Exotic Titan helm for 13 Strange Coins), Young Ahamkara’s Spin (Exotic Hunter gauntlets for 13 Strange Coins) and Light Beyond Nemesis (Exotic Warlock helmet for 13 Strange Coins). All Exotic Gear is available in their new upgrade forms, leading to higher Defense cap stats.
