Nintendo may have accidentally leaked the game's name.

We know that a Yoshi game is due out on the Nintendo Switch next year, and that it is being developed by Good Feel, the same folks who brought us the superlative Yoshi’s Wooly World on the Wii U and 3DS. However, so far, the game has not actually had a name- we’ve just been calling it “Yoshi for Nintendo Switch” in the absence of one.

Now, however, it seems like a name for it may have leaked- while this may also have been something that we would have found out more about in tonight’s Direct before it got delayed, it seems like Nintendo’s own website has spilled the beans mistakenly. Apparently, Yoshi for Switch is showing up as being titled Yoshi’s Crafted World on Nintendo’s website- suggesting that that will be the name of this new entry.

The name makes sense- it fits with the game’s arts and craft theme, and also follows from Yoshi’s Wooly World, which was the last instalment. One way or the other, we should know more once the Direct ends up happening.

Nintendo of America president says the game is making "great progress".

Following a listing on the Nintendo Switch eShop stating that it was out in 2019, Nintendo has now officially confirmed that Yoshi Switch has been delayed. Yoshi wasn’t seen in the E3 2018 presentation (which, oddly enough, was full of other 2019 titles) and isn’t present on the E3 show floor either.

Nintendo of America president and chief operating officer Reggie Fils-Aime said that Yoshi “continues to be in development making great progress” in an interview with Polygon at E3. It doesn’t seem like we’ll know what’s going on with it anytime soon.

Then again, Nintendo has a habit of running Direct presentations throughout the year, providing updates on release dates and the like beforehand. Whether this will be the case for Yoshi or not later remains to be seen.

Other Nintendo Switch titles conspicuously missing from Nintendo’s E3 2018 showcase include Metroid Prime 4 (whose absence was later explained by Nintendo), Bayonetta 3 and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes (also slated to release in 2018).

This year's E3 is jam-packed with awesome reveals - here are a few to expect.

It’s that time of the year again. The Electronic Entertainment Expo is less than a month away and while the actual show will open on June 12th to 14th, pressers from big-name publishers like EA, Microsoft, Sony, Ubisoft and Bethesda will hog the spotlight in advance. Keeping that in mind, here are 30 games to look forward to at E3 2018, including confirmed appearances and titles that are almost guaranteed to receive new information.

The Division 2

Announced just a few months ago, Ubisoft Massive will finally deliver a sequel to its fledgling but ultimately solid third person looter shooter. Of course, there’s next to no information for what’s coming, whether it’s a new city or several, the continuation of the first game’s story and so on. However, the developer has ensured players that past feedback has been taken into account, unlike some other looter shooter sequels. Speaking of which…
