Take-Two Interactive recently filed a trademark for the name Rockstar Films, and the trademark has been approved. GTA/Red Dead/L.A. Noire film, anyone?
“Animated motion picture films featuring entertainment, namely, action, adventure, dramatic, comedic, children’s and documentary themes; pre-recorded video discs and other pre-recorded digital and electronic media in the field of live action programs, motion pictures, or animation featuring entertainment, namely, action, adventure, dramatic, comedic, children’s and documentary themes,” says the trademark description.
Take-Two currently also owns trademarks for URLs RockstarFilsm.com and RockstarFilms.net.
